One Call Plumbing misdiagnosed the cause of my low water pressure and replaced the wrong part at my expense. Thus far, it has not been a priority for them to correct the issue, or refund me my money for their negligence. In short, I am sure this company is fine to use for simple DIY basic plumbing needs which appears to be the majority of the reviews on here (replacing washers in faucets, swapping out hot water heaters, and changing a faucet - all things I do on my own), but I would not recommend them for anything more complex than this. They also take advantage of most homeowners limited knowledge about plumbing to make them think issues are addressed that are not. Fully Story: I contacted One Call Plumbing on 12/4/17 due to low water pressure in my property. At the time, I was leasing the property, and the technician contacted me over the phone and told me the issue was a faulty pressure relief valve in the crawlspace. The technician quoted me $414 for a job that other plumbers agreed to do for $200 ($50 part). Due to the urgency, I authorized the repair, and they assured me they provide a warranty where other plumbers do not. The technician convinced my tenants who were living there that the issue was addressed and assured me over the phone; I hence paid them in full for the job. My tenants moved out in early July and indicated the low water pressure issue was never resolved, and they did not say anything as they did not want to bother me. I contacted One Call Plumbing on July 7th to attempt to address the issue under their 1 year warranty period. They refused to give me a dedicated window as to when they would dispatch a technician because it was a warranty claim. After giving this issue a low priority they finally dispatched a technician on Saturday, July 21 (14 days later). The technician's name was Loren Webster. The technician arrived and attempted to adjust the pressure relief valve in the crawl space, and was having trouble fixing the pressure issue. He then said it was fixed, and attempted to persuade me that the pressure issue was fixed with 3 Water Sense faucets turned on all at once. I stated that I needed at least 7.5 GPM to run three showers consecutively in 5 bedroom house. He tried to claim that the kitchen faucet had a 5 Gallon Per Minute Flow Rate when in fact it is 1.8 GPM. After pressing him that the issue is not fixed, he then admitted that he completely removed the Pressure Relief Valve that One Call replaced and this was the pressure coming from the valve at the street. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a similar method that the last technician used who completed the original repair, to convince my tenants that the issue was fixed, when in fact it was not. I then went with him to the master valve at the street, and we identified that there was another pressure relief valve in the box. I had already called the Town of Cary to check the water pressure, and they confirmed they had sufficient pressure on their end, and even replaced the meter to resolve a leak. Thus, the pressure relief valve in the main box was the problem that One Call should have replaced, to begin with. Loren seemed confused as to how to go about the repair, and whether he could get the proper replacement part. He indicated he would contact me on Monday and would provide me a quote. He seemed uninterested in performing the repair, and I got the sense he would price it so high so he would not have to deal with it. This was after I paid this company to replace a part that wasn't broken and wasn't the cause of the initial issue I called to diagnose and correct. I do not appreciate One Call giving me the run around to address the issue and the technician's dishonesty in covering up the issue and being unwilling to address the fact I paid them already for the job that they failed to perform correctly from the start. It is now Tuesday and I am still chasing them to try to get them to correct this issue.

They were timely and pleasant and did their job well. My only hang up is the pricing. They were here for 1.5 hrs installing a new kitchen faucet and disposal air switch and charged is $600. I will not be hiring them again because of this.

Our aging gas water heater stopped working on a Friday morning. We were able to contact One Call that afternoon, and team member Harris was at our house at 9 AM Saturday. He didn't rush the process and carefully checked every possible reason for the failure. We decided to replace rather than repair and Harris will return to our house on Monday to install a new unit. Very satisfied with his professionalism and the company's quick response.

I purchased an old home and wanted to replace as much plumbing as I could and make sure everything was up to code. I received a quote from them and another plumber to replace all the old plumbing in the basement. They had two guys come for two hours and did about one third of the work. I contacted them to talk about the issue and they asked me to meet the owner at the site to go over everything. They arrived at the appointment twenty minutes late. The plumber who did the work seemed to be taking the complaint personally and was a bit upset. Part of my complaint was that the estimate listed the job as one full day of labor. When I mentioned that I was told that for them four hours is one full day of labor. I found that a bit misleading, it would be more accurate to quote number of hours of labor. As we had more plumbing to do we showed them some additional work inside and asked if they would be interested in doing that as well. At this point I was impressed the owner had come out to address the complaint and thought everything would be taken care of. They looked at everything and said they would get back to us that evening or the next day. Never heard from them again. I got the other plumber to come back out and asked how much to finish the job. He said as about one third was done he would just knock one third off the estimate. After the job was completed it looked to me like a lot less than one third had initially been done. So very disappointing in every aspect except the woman at the office was very nice. I will never use these guys again and do not recommend. Update Wow. Twenty minutes after I post the review they call me asking me to take it down. I tell them everything in it was entirely accurate. He then says they never received payment for the service and are going to put a lien on my property. I told him I have a copy of the check they deposited proving I paid. He said he didn't believe me. You can't make this stuff up. These guys are truly horrible people. You can't call and threaten someone because they post a review you don't like. This is crazy.

I received no such call and had to call them around 2 to see what was going on. The lady on this call sounded so unsure of what was going on and could not help me. I can't reschedule another appointment during work hours like she offered. I requested an after-6pm quote for this evening and she said the tech probably won't come out after 6 and she would get back to me. Not getting my hopes up.

Impossible to get a quote from them. they called me one hour before the scheduled appointment and cancelled. they said they would call back to reschedule never called. Finally came out and got a quote on july 5th.

there were things happening after they left than was before. like,the faucet was not spurting water when you pressed on it nor had there been a problem with the knob on the bottom of the toilet being broken off
