Charles arrived on time, removed the defective and inoperable printed-circuit-board (PCB) from our furnace, replaced it with a new PCB, double checked all the wiring against the schematic, started the furnace, checked its operation, re-programmed our three thermostats, and then double-checked that all was working properly - all within about 30 minutes!. Courteous, efficient, speedy, and double-checked everything. TERRIFIC!

From start to finish the team at National Refrigeration went far above my expectations. They were easy to deal with when pricing out a new furnace & hot water tank with no pressure to purchase. When I decided to go with them for my new install they showed up on time and got right to it . The crew that came to my home were super professional & answered any questions I had, they were very neat with there work & cleaned up after everything was completed. I would highly recommend National for any new installs & service work.

The three gentleman, Rito, Sean, and Charles, who installed my new furnace and air conditioner were very professional. They took the time to answer all of my questions in a patient and courteous manner. For a while I wasn't sure that they would be able to get some venting into a tight space, but they hung tough and finished the job. These men seemed to be dedicated to doing a good job. I have told some of my friends and neighbors about your company and they are interested in possibly contacting you about servicing them too.

Rito attempted to determine what was causing the heating system to stop without any error code. He determined that there was water in the blower, and then checked that the drain hoses and pressure switches were working properly. However, he did not consider, simply because he was not properly trained to consider, that the drain hoses might not be connected to the blower properly. He never figured out why there was water in the blower. The result of his visit was an improper diagnosis of the control board being defective. A result of Rito’s efforts, the system filled with water even more. So much that the drip pan overflowed in just about 15 hours after he left, causing damage and staining to the ceiling below. I replaced the control board, which made no difference in the situation, so I asked for National to come back and properly resolve the problem. Thankfully, service technician Ryan came properly trained and knowledgeable about these systems and was able to diagnose that the system was not draining because the drain hoses were not properly connected. In less than 30 minutes, Ryan had the problem diagnosed and fixed. Merely moving one drain hose to a different port in the heating system solved the problem. I paid $150 for Ryan’s visit and resolution, which I am happy to pay for good service done well and timely. However, I should be refunded for the $125 charged for Rito’s visit, $62 that I paid out of pocket for the replacement control board, and be reimbursed for the costs of the damage done to my ceiling that is a direct result of Rito’s efforts. Simply, if Rito had been properly trained, none of these problems would have occurred and Ryan would not have had to visit. I explained this situation to National and asked for the service manager to call me back to discuss; however I never received a call back.

We are newly moved into our new home. Thanks to Doreen in the office she suggested we wait until next year to start a service contract as we are under warranty. Of course it was not until 6:30pm that we realized the heat wasn't working. I expected a long wait as we were not customers. In just over an hour Rito arrived are carefully assessed the situation and discovered the cause of our problem. He also checked our fireplace and hot water heater. Rito was kind and very professional. I was fully prepared for a bill that I would pay and deal with the builder later on. Rito assured us we were on warranty and he would forward the bill directly to the builder. Needless to say we are signing up for a contract with this wonderful company.

Rito was polite, professional, thorough, knew exactly how to diagnose the problem and was able to repair the problem. This was in addition to maintaining claenliness in our house while performing his work. While he explained what he was doing and seeing the result, I decided to enter into a 2 year maintenance contract. I would request that he come back next Spring to protect our central air conditioning units with preventative maintenance almost as much as we are grateful for his 9 years of Marine Corp service protecting our Country.

I do not write review often. But This organization is top notch! I needed a gas furnace and AC replacement and did a fair amount of research on different systems and cost. I went to two other companies to get estimates before going to National. I prefer talking to people face to face and went to their location in Warwick, RI. My initial meeting was with a service supervisor, Brian K. Great first impression, Brian was courteous, professional and informative. He encouraged me to describe what my desires were in a new system and walked me through several pros and cons of the options available. He was definitely not trying to sell me on the highest end models and was more concerned about me being informed on potential decisions. Several days later Brian came out to the house to perform the estimate. Again, he was very informative as we discussed different options and expectations and got me a proposal within a day. National’s quote came in lower than the others and when dealing with their support department Doreen was professional, a pleasure to deal with. Solid customer service you wish you got from every company. On the day of installation Brian, Sean D. and Rito S. performed the work. I mean they worked… I am a details person and these guys paid attention to the details. The epitome of professional and quality. Hey National Refrigeration, give these guys a raise. Semper Fi, Joe
