Mills Air was top notch. Our service technician, Jay, was excellent. He was very polite and professional and kept us informed while he was working on our system. We will definitely use Mills Air again in the future and we hope to see Jay again soon!

First of all, I was never the type to buy an extended warranty for anything because of all the horror stories I've heard about companies always having excuses as to why the part that is defective isn't ever covered on said warranty. Well Mills Air has changed my thinking on that. I purchased an extended parts and labor warranty from them several years ago and am happy to report all the issues I have had to date (there have been many) have been covered no questions asked. Let's face it we live in Florida and our AC systems run 24/7 in the summer. Do yourself a favor and call Mills air about their extended warranties it will save you a ton of money in the long run. My latest issue was diagnosed by Stive D in about 2 minuets. After he made the repair he checked both units while he was here on a Sunday no less and was out the door and it didn't cost me a dime. Most companies will charge $100.00 or more just to show up. i highly recommend them for all you AC/ heater needs

I went with Mills Air after my AC went down in the middle of July. I called 5 companies and Mills not only could come out the soonest (the next day), but they also had the best diagnostic charge. I scheduled an appointment for the following day and they arrived when they said they would. Tech Dan came out and was excellent! All along the way he went over what he was fixing and what potentially could be wrong with the unit. Dan was on time, personable, and very knowledgable in HVAC. Some other techs at the end of the day on a weekend might just swap out the capacitor and roll on without doing anything else. Dan took the time to check the refrigerant charge to make sure I was good before he left. I also like the fact that if anything happens or I have any more AC issues, they will come out within 30 days and waive the diagnostic charge. I don't know if every company in the industry does this but it was nice to know they would be back in the event I had another issue. All in all I was satisfied with Mills Air and wouldn't hesitate to call them again for all my AC needs. Thanks Mills Air and thanks Jim Colbert for recommending them on your show.

I left a review a couple weeks ago on a service call experience I had with Mills Air and the team at Mills Air followed up immediately and rectified the situation. Ryan came out and looked at my system thoroughly. He was punctual, polite and gave me his professional opinion on the health of my system. All people/businesses can have an "off" day. The difference between people/companies that are worthy of second chances and those that aren't, is the ability to own an "off" day, apologize for it and make it right. Mills Air did that. Thank you. Previous review 2 weeks ago... I called and made an appointment with Mills AC to service my AC. I was told the technician would arrive between 1-6 on the scheduled day and they would call 30 min prior to arriving. The day of the service I was at the doctors office and got an alert from my RING at 10:25am. The technician was at my door. I spoke to him letting him know it wasn't until 1PM. He said he was finished with his morning routes and was close by so he just came over. Generally not a problem, but I was not home. He said I need to call the office and reschedule. I explained that I already did and had an appointment for 1PM, not sure why I have to call for another. After listening to his many excuses to why he was there so early I finally asked him to call for me, as I was at the doctors, and have them call me. 30 minutes went by and I didn't hear from anyone, so I called back into the office. The young lady ensured me that my 1-6 was still my appointment. She was short and offered no apology for the inconvenience. Joe arrived ay my house around 530PM. This is now the 2nd time he showed up at my house without calling first. I opened the door and he said "what do you need?" He did not seem to want to be here and did not offer his name. He and I talked as he worked on the system and seemed to be warming up. He replaced a $25 part in under 30 minutes. He gave me an invoice for $317. $89 for the service call which I knew about and then $227 for the $25 part and 30 minutes of labor. Most lawyers charge $300-$400 an hour. I was charged $200 for 30 minutes. I dont like that I was not told how much before he did the work and not given an option to purchase the part and do it myself. I am happy with the end product (my ac working again), but not happy that when I asked him the health of my unit, he refused to look at it, stating he would have to charge me if he looked at it. I know my unit is old, but not sure how old and I was looking for his opinion. I know that I have to get it replaced sometime in the near future, but I don't think it will be through Mills. Its a shame because I like supporting family owned businesses. It is the reason I went with them to begin with.
