Dan and his trainee came out to address a question I had on my HVAC unit that is coming up on its 1 year warranty expiration. Dan provided a complete explanation of the noise I questioned and now I have a better understanding of the unit. I appreciate his honesty, proactive approach and the thorough diagnosis. It's also nice to see a trainee have the opportunity to learn first had experience. This was one of the best service experiences I've had in a while! Keep up the great work!

Update as of June 23, 2022: I just had my annual service maintenance complete and Rashat was beyond impressive. Professional, competent and efficient. He provided great annual service while also identifying issues that could have a much greater negative impact in the future (cracked pipe). He was able to fix the problem while setting conditions for future repair. I could not be more grateful for Rashat's service, professionalism, care for his craft and willingness to go the extra mile. Mills has a great team and I am very lucky to work with them. Air Conditioning is not something to take lightly in this state and Mills "gets it". I would not use any other company to maintain my AC needs. Thank you Mills!

Update as of July 29, 2021: Just had service completed by Gary. He was incredible and extremely knowledgable. I would reserve him for service every time. He walked through the issues, took the time to explain them to me and then found other issues and quickly repaired them even though that is not what he was here to do.
I have worked with Mills for over a year now and have the entire team to be incredible. Customer Service, management, and technicians. Plus, I have to recognize both Jesse (Manager) and Sherree (Customer Service). They go the extra mile to help their customers. Given the fact we live Florida, there are very few things that I care about more than Air Conditioning, and Mills is our "go-to" team.

Both Valentin and Sean were great. Two different styles but both effective at their positions and take pride in their work. Ralph, the Manager, is professional and informative and always willing to assist customer concerns. Mills A/C clearly takes pride in their work, takes care of their team and understands the customer. They deserve public recognition across the board. A/C is not something to take lightly in Florida, and we are lucky to have Mills as our A/C company. I highly recommend this team. They have our trust.

Noticed my outside unit was making a loud noise, inspected it and discovered the fan was not turning. I immediately called Mills Air around 7:30 pm, the tech, Patrick returned my call within 15 minutes. He said he would come to look at the unit (he was about an hour away) He arrived around 9 pm, and discovered the motor was bad, replaced it and had the A/C up an running by 10:30 pm. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Patrick, that after a very long, hot day he was willing to come to my rescue and repair my A/C.

I’d start by saying that the service professional was nice and courteous and he also quickly identified the problem and fixed the issue. That being said, the low rating is coming from the fact that I felt like I’m being taken advantage of as a customer. I specifically called Mills because they installed this brand new unit 18 months ago. The capacitor failed and the first $89 were spent on 30 second look by the repair guy letting me know I needed a new capacitor (I asked what do the $89 cover and I was told “me telling you that you need a new capacitor”). The part was under warranty but the labor (3 minute work) to unplug 4 cables was $120. I already found out after posting about my experience on our neighborhood Facebook group that there are many companies out there with much better rates. At the end of the day, 10 min visit ended up with $215 worth of labor diagnostic charge (for a part under warranty). Many places would credit the diagnostic cost if you do the repair with them, but I guess Mills prefer to take advantage of their customers and over charge for a quick and easy fix. I won’t use again. If you can shop around please do. Lesson learned, the capacitor is $16 on Amazon and I know how to replace it myself now :)
