We were very pleased with Lighten Up resolving our electrical problem. It was late afternoon and a short somewhere tripped a breaker and I was unable to reset it. I thought i smelled electrical wiring burning. Since our new home was one month out of warranty I needed to find a new electrician quickly. I had saved an old coupon from Lighten Up, so took a chance. Michael showed up a half hour later (WOW) and troubleshooted the entire electrical path to that breaker. He explained everything he was doing, and why, which I like because i always learn something that may help in the future to resolve simple issues myself. He was thorough, efficient and found the problem and fixed it. Price was quoted up front and it was well worth every penny. Thank you, Michael.

Travis was punctual and very nice. He checked the connection to the dryer and said wiring was fine. He said it was a faulty dryer. Manweiler Appliance came and said the dryer was fine. The appliance tech found a loose wire in the wall plug in and cleaned and tightened it. The new dryer works fine now. Lighten Up did not solve the problem. I was disappointed.

My water pump went out on the hot water in-floor heating at my home. I called Lighten Up again and they sent Seth out. He walked me through the system, answered all my questions and figured out that it was actually a bad tempering valve that failed and then caused the pump to fry. He found a replacement and had the system up and running. I can't say enough about how nice it was to deal with this company and technician. I'm more than happy. The total experience with Lighten Up has been outstanding. Jenessa was pleasant, professional and efficient in getting my appointment scheduled then following up with a phone call to let me know that Fess was on the way. Once here, Fess took the time to walk me through the complex heating and cooling system in our new home. It has radiant hot water heat in the floor, forced air heat, air conditioning and a propane fireplace. Fess was personable, professional, and gained my confidence that anything he recommended is professionally justified. He didn't just rush in, check the boxes on the inspection spreadsheet and try to sell me something I wasn't interested in. He took the time to answer my questions, show me the good, the bad, and the ugly with our system, and then he presented me with options going forward without the sleazy "used-car salesman" pitch that is so prevalent in today's service field. Well done! I'm happy to recommend this company and it's personnel.

Cory and Ben, along with Klaus returned to do further repair. Again, I rated them 5 stars because they made another huge impression on my husband and me. Ben explained everything, and gave us 6 options for the repair of our malfunctioning water heater. He thoroughly explained each option; their advantages and disadvantages and the prices of each. He was pleasant, did not talk down to us, and was very, very knowledgeable. Cory found 4 issues with our furnace; showed each and thoroughly explained each issue. Since we had purchased their complete care package for only $189.00 for a year, all his repairs were included, and therefore we were not charged for the call or the repairs. So with one visit, the complete care package paid for itself! Klaus was wonderful as usual; completed the scrub of the plumbing, and again swabbed the kitchen floor on hands and knees. I'm thinking of adopting him! We strongly recommend Lighten Up Electric and Plumbing. We had a major problem with our drains not draining, and the dishwasher suddenly flooded the kitchen floor. We called on Monday, and they arrived that very morning. It was a complicated problem and the 3 gentlemen with Lighten Up worked diligently until 6:00 pm. One tech even sprayed the kitchen floor with a cleaner, and swabbed it down. It turned out to be a 2-day project. They were very courteous, arrived on time, called ahead and thoroughly explained everything. We were able to view the problem when they put a camera locator into the pipe. Thank you Brian, Klaus and Dave for your expertise. You 3 are a credit to Lighten Up.

The holidays is not the best time for an emergency plumbing issue. We had friends and family visiting and many events planned. We are glad that we had Brian on our side. He navigated through all the issues that arose on a job of this size with ease.

A bit over whelming when we ask for a furnace clean and checkup then suddenly need a new air conditioner new furnace etc. Both work just fine.
