Very unprofessional company starting with owner Frank. Had furnace issues where duct work had been installed improperly by someone else. After several service calls we told salesman, Bill, we wanted a whole new system including duct work. Twice the technicians came out and extensively talked about what needed done. We signed contract for exploratory work with deposit to be applied to entire job. Exploratory work was done including cutting a hole in ceiling, which we had agreed to. That’s where it stopped. No one would answer our calls. Finally called owner, only to be told he was out and never returned our calls. Well their loss... our work is now done, by a very professional staff at Randazzo including us adding an all house generator to the job. I would not ever recommend Kotz, they are rude, unprofessional, and obviously cannot handle any job with problems. I recommend Randazzo 100%. Wayne the service pro was not at fault, it was from the top Frank.

Molly conducted preventative maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner in September. She was professional, knowledgeable and efficient with her analysis of both units. She was thorough in asking questions regarding any performance issues with either unit. She detected a potential igniter issue with the furnace due to age, recommending replacement before failure in winter. She also reviewed the A/C unit performance which was functioning properly,and inspected and cleaned the outside unit. Molly was very pleasant and straight forward in her approach to provide good service with a smile. I would recommend her work with Kotz H&C to others.

Have used Kotz for years - 2 furnaces, AC units, on demand hot water unit, routine maintenance. We have always been very satisfied up until this last encounter. Had a salesman out about 8 weeks ago to bid on a job related to a kitchen renovation (needed the venting for the range hood, a gas line for new range, new placement of the thermostat because we took out the wall it used to be on and redirection of cold air returns). The salesman indicated they could do the work, we accepted the price he bid. Service was out 2 weeks ago to review the scope of work and verify timeline for them to come in - was back a few days later due to a blown fuse in the furnace - again verified - on the books for the work to be done the following day. Date of service comes along - nobody shows/nobody calls. Husband calls to find out when they are coming out - is told "Nope - owner says we're not doing the work", Husband calls the office asking for the owner so he can discuss the situation - is told "owner is out". Repeated calls have been ignored. Now my renovation is completely on hold - my appliance delivery is on hold - because of the massive unprofessionalism here. Please don't take this review of the salesman or the serviceman - they were both very nice and helpful - this is a review of the business practice as a whole - and that comes from the top!

Received maintenance agreement service on our furnace today. Wyatt was the technician and he was very friendly, professional and informative. We are THRILLED with the service! Starting with Norm who came out within hours of our call to troubleshoot and try to resuscitate our AC. When that didn’t work Scott came out and helped us chose a unit and the very next morning Cody and David were here to install our new AC! Would HIGHLY recommend! Oh, and the price was right!!! Called to have a duct issue looked at and was charged $150 to have the repairman scratch his head and send out a salesman that just wanted to sell a new hvac unit that wouldn't fix the problem. Once I pointed out the duct limitation and presented a solution the salesman said he would contact me with an estimate then left and was never heard from again. If you want an honest repair that will fix your problem then look elsewhere. If you want to be sold an unneeded unit then these are your guys

Allen arrived to perform a scheduled tune up on our air conditioner. and presented himself in a very neat and professional manner. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. During his visit he made various suggestions which I will consider. I will be contacting Kotz again for future tune ups and system repairs.

Anthony completed the service in a timely manner and explained what he had done and how the air conditioning unit was working and indicated everything was in good order.
