Had a central A/C problem for over ten years. Technician from Key visited my home and ascertained the problem in less than 30 minutes. Keith (Tech) will return to my home in late April to make repair. Key contacted me by phone ten days later to advise the cost for repair and set up appointment to finish job. Very satisfied.

Just moved into a new house, and needed to get my heat system checked, before winter. Called Key, and made the appointment for the next day. He checked the furnace, and said it was fine. I told him that there seemed to be a problem with the vents in two of our rooms. Walter said that he would go up into the attic and check them. He returned from the attic 15 minutes later, and said he adjusted the dampers, and that it was all good now. We just realized that those two rooms were still cold, so I went into the attic to check myself. Both dampers were still completely closed, and looked like they had never been checked, as the insulation on those two dampers had not been disturbed at all. I paid about $250 for this service. Not very happy with Key Heating, after fixing the problem myself in about 5 minutes.

The team at Key was great. They fit the appointment to work with our schedule. They arrived when they said they would. They were professional, courteous and helpful. The technician knew about our equipment, serviced it in a timely way, and discussed long-term options as our equipment becomes older. We'd certainly use Key again in the future for our heating and air conditioning needs!

The cleaning service went well and I was reviewing the bill and notice a filter was not changed on the invoice. This was the Air filter for the duck work. It may have been missed by accident and will check on Monday 10/2 to see if they will drop one off.

Fifteen years or so ago, I had a very satisfactory experience with a home installation by Key Heating & A/C. This time around was problematic from the initial estimate through the job completion. The estimate was late and had to be dealt with by email while on vacation in order to meet a job deadline, the sales person did not respond to information requests necessitating switching to a person in the office, there was no "demo" as promised resulting in the unit not working, first because the electrician did not connect a wire, then because a drain was not hooked up properly. The installer was very helpful in finally explaining the system and providing assurances that the equipment selected was correct for the application. It certainly appeared that Key Heating & A/C is woefully understaffed for the business being generated.

I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from all points of contact for this project. After I submitted my first payment, I did not hear anything about scheduling or confirmation until I called two weeks later to see what was going on. After scheduling a walk-through and service date, I requested an additional estimate during the walk-through. Alex came out for the walk-through with the technician. I called three separate times to get that estimate and only received it 3 days before the install date. Additionally, I confirmed with Kirsten that all parts were ordered and ready for install date. 2 days before install date I was told that Air handler had NOT been ordered. Alex scrambled all next day to get it ordered and install date had to be pushed out 1 day. This was extremely inconvenient as arrangements had been made with work and childcare. We accommodated for the following day to have a different technician show up with no knowledge of the install or parts required. This lead to the install spilling into the following day which required an additional unexpected work and childcare arrangement. Throughout all of these delays, Alex was not apologetic at all. Lastly, in between the install dates, our hot water was turned off and not turned back on overnight. This was not communicated to us, nor was anyone apologetic that it occurred. From estimates, ordering parts, installation, friendliness of staff and general lack of caring we are extremely displeased with our service we received. We will not be using Key again and regret choosing this estimate over the others we received. The only redeeming part was the service manager who came out following install at my request to ensure install was done properly. He was very nice and spent time to look over the setup.

My AC condenser was very dirty. Richard took over an hour to make sure the condenser was clean and functional. Very impressed with the work done by Richard.

We called for service (non emergency) on one of our geothermal exchangers and by the next morning everything was up and running again. Courteous phone staff and very knowledgeable tech (Walter).

Quality of work and communication by team was outstanding. Installers were neat/clean and organized. Accepted quotes from 3 companies and selected Key based on engaged/friendly approach by Alex!!
