They changed their schedule to fit us in which was great as our old Armstrong unit of 24 years finally gave up the fight. Installers were great and professional. However the freezer I had next the new unit defrosted and died a week later, probably just a coincidence. Also, the new unit is louder than my previous Armstrong unit that lasted 24 yrs. A new Armstrong unit was more expensive than the Lennox though so Armstrong must be higher quality than Lennox, as they say you get what you pay for. Also they custom made the housing for the AC coils, they did a great job but it still looks like someone put sheet metal around coils, again I shouldn't compare to my previous Armstrong as they must be a higher level product and do cost more.

We have been using Kent since remodeling our 1947 home in 2000. They have always been knowledgeable, and given us options for our home. The service is quick and efficient. We received a flyer for the same unit for a discount, but chose to stay with Kent because we knew we could count on them no matter what we needed. We have been using Kent Heating and Air Conditioning for our HVAC needs for 20 years, and have always been very satisfied. We had them install a high-efficiency furnace and an air conditioning unit in the past, and just a month ago a new, 2-stage Lennox high-efficiency furnace, with humidifier and high MERV air filter. We were very pleased with the installation, and have also been pleased with the operation of the furnace. We look forward to saving on both gas and electric costs!

Very good discussion of options initially, good presence of sales tech at beginning and during installation. Owner showed up during installation and asked how things were going. Only issue was a few minor clean-up issues. Installers were very friendly, competent and kept me informed of what was going on all during installation.

Don, the salesman, was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He was excellent. The installers were a bit disappointing. Everything was installed properly and works well, but one guy took frequent smoke breaks (on my property), the work in the utility room did not have a finished look to it, and they did not replace stones they removed from a retaining wall in order to install the new unit outside. I had to replace them myself. Don was very apologetic when he learned about this and came out in person to "dress up" the work in the utility room. I expected some modest discount for my trouble when I went to pay, but received none. The installers need some lessons in professionalism.

Even though they were working on a tight schedule, the estimator was able to come out within a day of my call, and he had installers here that evening! The pricing was very competitive; everyone was very professional and respectable during the estimating and install. Due to darkness they did need to return the next day to confirm the pressure for the coolant, they kept us aware of what time they would be here and they were here when they said they would be. I would highly recommend Kent to anyone!
