Impressive! Calling with a courteous heads-up, Don arrived early (good) in the window of time expected.Instant identification of the problem like a specialist. Don kept me informed as he worked explaining some fine points of the whys and wherefores. When the motor was running (new motor) he gave it time to warm up the two-days-cold house before turning it off again to complete details of the installation...much appreciated. Oh ya...and he didn't flinch when my 75 pound dog jumped on him. Did I say impressive? You bet.

Don't bother with this company, unless you don't mind your house being cold.

He was really prompt, knowledgeable, efficient about what needed to be done, and best of all was able to get the part needed the same day! He didn't try to sell or oversell, and just gave me straight advice about best practices for maintenance of the furnace. I have had other companies who have tried to see me special contracts etc. but not in this case. Refreshing!

But that's what I feel at least the service manager should've done after my first call, instead after my 5th call he just tell me that everything they did was correct... It's a long story so let's get the TLDR right off the bat, rip off pricing, impolite and impatient technician Imran S, and service manager who doesn't care about the customer. I signed up for the service plan with this company last year, I wanted to understand a bit more about our heater system so I took a day off to wait for the technician. The technician arrived on time, but was awful to talk to, extremely pushy and very impatient, also most importantly, totally unprofessional. Impatience and impolite: He looked at my system and right away said it's installed "in wrong application", ok fine, I asked a couple questions, he explained that this heater can't take the burden of both hot water heater and room heater. I followed up with more detailed questions, then he just became impatient and told me"I've been a boiler technician for 13 years, I can't condense all that technical information into a few minutes, it's all very technical". Now I consider myself a pretty technical person as a 5 year software engineer with electronic engineer degree, nothing he said is difficult to understand, it's only difficult to have him answer my questions directly. Further more, even if it takes time, I feel as a paying customer, I do have the right to ask some questions right? Pushy: right after he said it's the wrong application, without looking at the system much he started selling me to get me buy a new installation from them for $7000 for tank heater or $15000 for a tankless system. I was hesitant for the price and he just keep saying the system is broken and has to be replaced otherwise I will have a cold winder etc. I asked him does he ran into this type of wrong application he said yes, then I asked based on his experience and the look of the system, how much longer will it last, he just laughed at my face and said "minutes, days? I don't know, you have to replace it". I quoted multiple places for a new tankless system and got price range from $1800 to $3000 for a tankless system, even less for a tanked one. Costhelper give average cost of replacing a boiler system $4000 to $5000. So the price of this company is clearly a rip off. Unprofessional: I told him when the system stop working it will have an error code 11, without checking any reference, he says that's exhaust error, which is caused by the wrong application etc. Before the service the heater stop working about twice a day. After the service it just completely won't work, I have to turn off the room heater to have hot water. Whole house became cold. I did research and found that the manufacture website says the error code 11 is ignition error. I opened the system, took a look at the ignitor flame rod, it's quite worn out, I cleaned the flame rod and put it back, it' started working fine. So the technician is either incompetent of actual diagnosing the problem or just straight up ripping me off by not fixing the problem and asking me to buy replacement with rip off prices, and leaving my house in code weather if I don't. I told him to just do the service, I don't want him to come down to here and get nothing done, then he just repeated since the system is in wrong application, any work done won't have any warranty, any guarantee at all. What a great customer experience. The reviews of the company looks good, so I figured I'll give them a chance to fix it, and called customer service to complain. Customer service apologized and told me someone will get back to me to make things right. Then I called again and again with in the past 3 weeks, until this morning the service manager Patrick finally give me the call, but all he says was his technician was doing the right thing to tell me my system has issues and need to be replaced and he apologized for him being pushy. All in all, I'm done with this company.

Jim was efficient, courteous and thorough. He answered all my questions clearly and left the installation site tidy. It was a pleasure working with everyone at Greenwood Heating and Air, from Sales to scheduling to the installation team.

On Christmas Day, our furnace stopped working. Fortunately, Quentin was on the job and showed up in a Santa hat and Seahawks jacket (go Hawks!). Faster than you can say "Ho ho ho", he replaced our ignitor and was off to spread more Christmas cheer. Much thanks, Quentin!

My wife and I had a serious problem with our heating system just before Christmas holidays. 30 degrees outside with no heat inside was very uncomfortable and dangerous to us, so it was important to get the heating system up and running quickly. Stephen D came quickly, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it and had 100 degree heat coming out the registers and vents quickly. The price was reasonable and the job very well done. I was so impressed I asked for a maintenance agreement, which was reasonably priced as well. Great job Greenwood and Stephen!

I called the afterhours services for my heat outage. I received a callback in less than 1 hour. The technician, Quintet Smith, was very clear in setting my expectations and laid out my options so I could make an informed decision. He arrived in the window in which he promised and although he'd had a long day, was very professional and friendly. He gave great advice for future maintenance as well. I am definitely a new Greenwood customer from now on.

Our furnace was running but we were not getting heat. Called for a regular appt and was told it would be a week, but if I didn’t mind paying more for emergency service, I could try the on-call emergency tech after 5:30 pm. (Extra $50–worth it when it’s getting down into the 30s at night.) Hicham was able to come by in roughly an hour, diagnosed and fixed our problem, and was happy to explain everything as well as make suggestions for better efficiency. Super personable and all around awesome service guy!
