Brandon came out as a second opinion to evaluate our existing heat pump system that was not working properly. It turns out we had to replace the whole system. He explained and showed us what had gone wrong with the previous system and how to prevent those same problems in the future. Brandon walked us through what we needed and talked about the benefits the new system would offer. He worked hard to get us a lower price and 10 year parts/labor warranty, and was patient with us as we overcame the sticker shock. He was "real" and we were comfortable with him and his expertise. We didn't feel he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need. Thanks, Brandon!

We had an old heat pump system that wasn't working properly. We had worked with Blue Flame in the past and had them out to assess the system. Turns out we needed to replace the whole system. Not what we wanted to hear, of course, but the Blue Flame team made it as painless as possible. We were very comfortable with Brandon, the service technician's, knowledge and recommendations and were confident that he worked hard to get us the best price possible. The installers; Hunter, Casey and Tyrell were respectful and did a nice job. When we had some minor questions/concerns that they couldn't resolve, Blue Flame sent out another service technician, Eric, at no cost to help us out. He answered all of our questions, resolved our concerns and left us feeling a lot more knowledgeable about our new system- what to expect from it and how to care for it. Kailana, from the office, was great in keeping us updated on when their employees would be arriving for each visit and gave us reminder calls the day before as well. It's always hard to take the jump to make a big price tag purchase, but we were comfortable with the process with Blue Flame and would recommend them.

We had a new heat pump system installed last week by Blue Flame and had a few minor concerns and questions after the install. Eric came out to look at the system and talk with us. He listened to our concerns and addressed and resolved each one. The whole time he was with us, he was educating. He is very knowledgeable and communicates very clearly with lay people who don't know a lot about how these systems work. By the time he left, all of our concerns were resolved and we felt like we understood so much more about our system. Eric is a fabulous educator and helped us feel comfortable with our new system. I pay for the monthly maintenance club which I've been happy with so far. They've called to schedule all services and delivered what they promised. However, I was disappointed on the most recent visit. The tech said that our furnace igniter was showing signs of wear and recommended replacement. I asked for a quote and was given a price of $220 . This seemed excessive for a simple part so I did a web search. I found many similar parts online for $20-40. When I challenged this I got the standard "I don't set the prices" line but they would check with management. The report back was that this included installation and warranty etc. That doesn't come close to justifying the price. They offered a $25 "gift card" but started losing my trust. I thought I had found a company that wasn't going to price gouge and always find something wrong, but now I'm not so sure.

The few times I've had a technician out to either complete a job or run a routine maintenance, the tech has gone out of his way to do more than he was here for. I am so glad I chose Blue Flame for my heat pump.

From Zane our sales representative to everyone who came on site to install the new heating and air conditioning system, to the office staff who followed up, we were pleased. Blue Flame installed the #1-rated American Standard equipment and it provides the family with comfort in this warm weather. My wife and I are very pleased and recommend the entire crew. The Westies in their TV commercials enticed our inquiry -- that's absolutely no sensible reason but it's true.
