I had the pleasure of having Stanley W. of Better Air complete the cleaning of all the ducts, returns and trunk lines in my house. Upon his arrival, he explained the cleaning process which I previewed previously on-line. He arrived on time, wore plastic booties on his feet from the time he entered the house, and he was very thorough in his work. He showed me before and after videos he took of each vent as I watched him efficiently do his job. He was professional, respectful, polite, extremely competent and personable. He took the time necessary to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. The equipment is commercial-grade with a high capacity cfm (cubic feet per minute) suction of air into his robot-like portable vacuum. I would not hesitate to recommend Better Air to anyone considering a whole-house duct work cleaning. Definitely a 5 out of 5 star rating

Great company! Steve and Mario were both very informative and polite. Mario provided a quote before he started the cleaning and while he laid out all the available options, there was absolutely no pressure to upsell and get more done than I wanted. He did a thorough job and even cleaned our dryer vent for no charge! From beginning to end, Better Air was a pleasure to work with! Would absolutely hire again!

I was having an issue with my kids being sick. I noticed one of my supply vents in my attic AC unit had an odor. I have knowledge of HVAC. I'm a 54 year old veteran and have complications from prostate cancer and decided to look for a duct cleaning service because, over exerting myself causes issues, otherwise I would have taken care of it myself. I called Better Air. I explained to the sales rep Steve that the unit, air handler, was in the attic and that my house was Truss built which would make it difficult to navigate. I thought someone should look at it before they decided to send a tech. He said that that would be too costly and when they come out that day they asses the situation an either do the job or not. Kenny showed up, He is a nice guy who works hard. I was expecting him to wear protective booties. Did not happen. I asked if he was going to Bore Scope the supply vents. He said that his batteries were dead in his scope. I supplied the batteries. He then handed the scope camera to me and i had to do it myself. The camera was very difficult to use and I could not see because of the difficulty of using it. When he got into the house he noticed that the unit was in the attic and that the air handler was not right in the opening to the attic and that he did not want to service the air handler for fear of falling through the ceiling. At that point I had to decide what to do. I decided that I needed to have a clean system and summer is coming. I personally went into the attic and pulled the side of the unit off and cleaned the evaporator coil. I also removed the blower motor and reinstalled it after bringing down to the garage. It's a good thing because the coil was disgusting. After I went back into the attic and was reinstalling the blower, Kenny started to Fog the system with Benefect, the biodegradable disinfectant. I STILL had the side of the air handler off and I was right there, I told him to stop until I was done installing the blower and cleaning the coil. I wasn't present to watch the cleaning of my duct work because I was in the attic cleaning things up and closing the unit. I am concerned that Had I not been home that I would have been charged for the cleaning of my coil and blower motor. For those of you that don't understand AC and forced hot air units, Please be aware. If you have Hot water baseboard heat and an AC unit in the attic, They may not want to service the air handler in the attic. They will clean the duct work but possibly not the coil and blower. I called and spoke to Steve. I told them that I also believe that I was overcharged for the Benefect after researching the cost of a gallon on line and he said " well you agreed to it, come on man". I was also reluctant to leave a review. I received several emails to leave one. I wanted to talk to some and not do this online. There is not a way to contact them and leave a review without it being seen by everyone. I have been charged and will accept it. If you are an elderly person on a fixed income, beware. you are easy pray. Shame on them for not offering a Corporate contact for customer support. That is the sign of a company that wants to do the job and not hear any bad feed back.

Stanley was super kind, professional and efficient. He took the time to explain my system to me as well as show me videos and photos of the black mold within our system. He noticed we don’t have an attic fan and suggested getting one installed to help regulate the temperature in the hot months. He not only cleaned up after the cleaning but also swept up our dog hair under our dryer (used the dryer plug, so he pulled it out) and took out my full garbage for me. Wonderful experience with him, and the mold is gone, so we can breath easy.

How do you get excited about having your home duct work cleaned? First, I didn’t know it was necessary. Stanley for Better Air arrived on time. He proceeded to show the “ how” situation of the dirt and filth in our duct work that we were breathing every day. After his cleaning and sanitizing, he showed the “after” results of his work. Amazing is best summed. Great work, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend everyone address this issue of health!
