Aaron Galloway: Service man shows up. Explained I needed second opinion on air cond. compressor. Custom Aire previously came out explained the compressor locked up and needed replacement, also condenser unit fifteen yrs. old. Custom aire sent 2 techs. one on 8-1-16 and 2 nd. on 8-2-16. The RED FLAG both techs. didn't remove the comp. noise cover. How can they recommend replacement of unit without looking at compressor. Aaron listened and I could see in his eye his gears turning he removed the cover in minutes performing his trade secrets. He assembled the unit flipping the quick dis-connect back to on and for a quick second I heard the compressor noise. He shut the unit down and completed his assembly of the unit. I tell you that was a sweet noise after experiencing 87 degrees inside the home for 2 days (one day 111 degrees). I will not only recommend Benchmark to friends and family by word of mouth, I now must get to work on passing the word out on custom aire. Thanks, Aaron.

Excellent service. I called at 10 am for a service call told them what was going on. They called me at 11:30 am told me that a tech would be at my house in an hour. Kelby showed up at 12:30, he was really nice and informative. He was able to fix the problem in an hour. I signed up for a yearly maintanence program cause I was so happy with there service.

In a word. Perfect. From an inspection to coordinating the replacement of the unit in December, during the Holiday's at that. In fact, Christmas Eve. They explained everything to me and that was that. Just a couple of phone calls. I own some rentals in my old hometown of Bakersfield. I live a few hours away now and when I was closer, I used to do all of the repairs myself. I get a little nervous when it comes to repairs and just sending someone out and not being able to look over their shoulder. That's why I'm glad I ran across Benchmark. The old unit just gave out and couldn't be repaired and this happened just a day ago. The family, with kids, needed some heat. And fast. Mike's team went up on the roof in the dark and found a few things wrong. It was an old unit. Mike called me personally to discuss something that went from a repair to a replacement. It took me about 60 seconds to have complete confidence in the inspection and the recommendation from Benchmark and from Mike. Not only that but they were able to put together a team to get it done on Christmas Eve.

Repaired a broken sensor on my A/C. The only place I could find to get out to my house the same day. Great customer service. Got my home cool again within 5 hours of the initial phone call.

We have been having some difficulty with our ac unit. Benchmark was our third contactor we called out. We would not have called them if it was for one of their techs on a service call across the street. The tech was so friendly and very helpful he even offered to take a look at our unit that day. So after a second inspection stating that we needed to charge our unit we call Benchmark to see how much they would charge for Freon. We were transferred to Mike the owner. Super nice guy. He asked us all kinds of questions over the phone and we learned so much. He asked if any of the other 2 guys cleaned be they checked the pressure. Which the did not. Turns out it being dirty can effect the pressure. He also asked us if they checked for any leaks in the system. And they did not. Needless to say we hired Benchmark. They sent Kenneth out that very same day. He was so thorough with his inspection and explained everything to us. He provided us with answers. Turns out we were low on Freon and he found the leak. The leak is a slow but was caused by rust damage so we will need to replace our condenser coil by next summer. And we will be calling them out to do the work and all other future services on ac and heating unit.

My 26-year-old shake roof house was in need of a roof job and a new air conditioner. Mike was very professional and knowledgable. Every single person I talked to and worked with did a fabulous job! Mike treated me and my home as well as if I were family! When the roof came off, he noticed a huge area that had no insulation in my cathedral ceiling. He was going to replace it, but the roofers put down the plywood before it could be done. With this knowledge, we had the roofers remove that section and he then added the extra insulation. We would have never known this unless he was looking out for us! We are so grateful! He contacted me with all the details and answered every question I had. Mike's communication every step of the way was perfect. I went with Benchmark because my neighbor just had her AC done by them. She spoke so highly of the whole team, I went with him over our other choice. I am so glad I did! I would recommend Benchmark to everyone! They have won me as a customer and I will use them for all of our future needs!

I saw Benchmark's service representative working on a neighbor's unit. Was impressed with what I saw and inquired what he was doing. After speaking with him, I asked for a business card and he was able to perform service on my unit that day. We had 2 days of record breaking heat and I realized my AC was "blowing air for too long without cooling". After Benchmark's service, I noticed that my air was cooler and not running as long.
