Our air conditioner was not working well and my house got up to 90 degrees before I even noticed it ‍️ I called Air Excellence and talked to Amy and they were able to get a tech out the next day to take a look at it. I got the bad news that it was time for a new unit which I was expecting as it was 15 years old. The Air Excellence team was amazing at explaining all the options and what to expect with the install process. The technicians that came out were knowledgeable and professional. We will be using Air Excellence for all of our maintenance and needs going forward.

Sorry I didn’t get this to you sooner. We had a family emergency (our daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer). To be sure, it’s no fun to be stranded in Tucson, Az, in the summer when the temperature is in triple digits and the air conditioner quits working. Not to mention I have underlying conditions (lung issues). Ah, to the rescue, Air Excellence on the scene. Not to worry, Alex is here. He was courteous, dressed neat and ready to help. The end result was that the air conditioner would cost a lot to fix. It needed a new compressor and a coil. There was no guarantee that it wouldn’t break down again and it was going to take about two weeks to get the coil. We couldn’t wait that long during this heat. We ordered a new air conditioner. It was installed on 7/07/20 and Alex did a great job in following up! Hats off to a good man. Don’t let this one slip away from you. Our AC went out over the weekend during the hottest time of the year. With 2 kids and 3 pets, we knew we had to get this fixed fast. Air Excellence dispatched their on-call technician within 10 minutes of my call. The technician was polite, honest and knowledgeable, and most importantly was able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed in under an hour. Thank you, we now know who to call when this happens again! We will also be referring family and friends!

Consumer BEWARE!! Air Excellence marks up the cost of the capacitors by as much as 10 times the open market cost. They charged us $153.04 (not including labor or trip charge) for an A/C capacitor that can be bought on the open market for about $10. Though our A/C unit is under a manufacturer warranty for parts, which means the manufacturer should cover the $153.04 we paid for the part (not including labor or trip charge), Air Excellence would charge us a trip charge to return the malfunctioning capacitor to the manufacturer. Which they stated would cost the same as the cost of the part itself, $153.04. Oh, and by the way, their office representative we talked with stated they had 3 parts on her desk to return to the same place. Is this ethical, charging each client a trip charge of $153.04 to return the parts? What a profit margin! I'd be willing to bet capacitor replacements is their biggest money maker. In addition, the technician they sent was working on the a/c unit while it was still powered-on and running which caused him to zap himself twice while trying to attach the new capacitor to the a/c unit. Also, he wasn't aware that Arizona requires all home A/C systems to have locks on the refrigerant valves to prevent theft of the refrigerant. Needless to say, he did not have any of the keys to unlock the valves and check our refrigerant pressure. You have now been warned about Air Excellence's business practices. Go elsewhere or be prepared to be taken to the cleaners. Good luck with your choices.

Erik was a very good AC technician! He even helped me read numbers off components that had been put in by another company which I needed those numbers to get a check back from AHG Warranty Co. I would like to you for your prompt response to our request for repair of our air conditioning unit. Your technician, Eric, was very professional and explained the problems he found with our a/c unit. After completion of the repairs and activation of the unit a vibration of the fan was noted.
