I was extremely pleased with Hernan Ortiz, the tech, who explained everything he was doing, showed me the before and after, explained how to clean the AC unit outside and did all the maintenance work that the contract requires. However, I was unhappy with the person who came before him who never did any part of the maintenance electing instead to tell me that the freon was low (a lie as two other people tested it that same day and two weeks later when it was found to be perfect), that the AC unit was too big( again, wrong as it is the perfect size), that the freon was leaking out of holes in the coils (not true) and that the coils were dirty and needed immediate cleaning ( a costly procedure and on a scale of 10, they are maybe at a 3). His sole goal was to sell me a new AC system. Every time an ARS tech comes, they spend as much or more time trying to sell products as to do the work. They get a percentage of the sales and probably get paid lower than other companies. It is not only beyond irritating, it is irresponsible making the repair person become a salesman when he should just be servicing the system. Hernan was the first and the best tech from your company as he did the work excellently, was the consumate professional and did not try to sell me a product, just doing the contracted for maintenance.

I have not been always happy with ARS A/C because over the last years, their service techs tend to spend as much time trying to sell you products as they do taking care of your AC. However, today, Hernan Ortiz proved to be a true professional. He serviced the AC, properly cleaning the inside and outside units, showing me what I could do on my own to keep up the unit and went over any questions with detailed answers.I would heartily recommend him to anyone.

We were guaranteed 24 hours service. We were left with 10 day old AC unit not working overnight. We called by 6pm and no one came until the new shift the next day. No on-call technician came. No one could give me a time to expect anyone nor did we receive a call asking if they could come over. We were also told that parts were always stocked for emergency purposes in a nearby warehouse in our neighborhood. Our part had to be overnighter from another city altogether. So much for guarantees.

Raimundo was an absolute professional. He explained the problems that were occurring and showed us, in detail, the issue our thermostat sensor had. He replaced the thermostat quickly, and fixed the problem in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to any customer in need of a repair. He came out on a Sunday with no complaint, and was as courteous as humanly possible.

Even at 8 pm he was all smiles. Told us up front what could be the problem(s). Since it was dark he couldn't check out the unit outside. We will calling back and schedule a return for Raimundo to come back and complete the diagnosis.

Raimundo came out on a Sunday and repaired a thermostat sensor problem. All covered under warranty. One of the nicest and most professional gentlemen I've met. I would highly recommend the company, especially Raimundo. Wow, what a great guy!

I was referred to ARS by my neighbor who recently had her central air-conditioner replaced. After contacting ARS and getting a new unit installed, there was a problem with the equipment and a replacement was ordered. Mr. Raimundo Rodriquez, analyzed the problem and assured me that he would be able to fix it. He returned the following day with the necessary equipment. He explained what he was going to do and answered all of my questions patiently. He is a professional and I received the impression that he loves what he does and he takes pride in his work.
