Had the furnace cleaned in October, a few weeks later started belching black smoke. Alex and Dan came out the day after I called, spent about 5 hours resolving the issue. No charge. Last winter my external water heater tank started leaking. AFC took care of the warranty for me. Only paid for the labor to install a new tank. Also last winter my oil tank was due for a refill on a Monday. Problem was a blizzard was due that day. AFC came out on a Sunday to refill the tank. Am very pleased with AFC.

The first technician arrived without any snakes for backed up plumbing, and stated he needed the other truck. He left and returned with 2 trucks to use the snakes from the other truck. We paid 142$ for a second technician to stand around while the 1st one used his equipment! The 2nd person did not participate in clearing the pipes.

This has been a terrible experience with complete lack of communication, lack of follow-up, and lack of completion of installing a new boiler and leaving the cleaning agent in the new boiler for over a week with adding the Fernox to the new system as promised. From what we have read the cleaner should only be left in the system for up to a week so now we are concerned that the cleaner will damage the new boiler. This is not to mention overfilling the propane tanks to over 80% not once but twice. This is unacceptable service and even though we have written emails with responses promising follow up we have yet to see or hear from anyone.

I was quoted $1.48-$1.56/gallon for propane by Josh. When the truck finally came (1.5-2 weeks later) to fill up our propane tank, the price had increased to $2.50/gallon. I had heard AFC did this from various individuals, but I thought I'd give the company a try as Josh was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I feel deceived and ripped off. AFC was also supposed to fill up our oil tanks. As of today, over 1 month after initially contacting Josh, we're still waiting for ~400 gallons. I'll be going with a different company, however, for the oil.

They didn't assign anybody until I called about 4:30 PM. Service person was very good and informative. The office people should be put on a lie detector when talking to customer. I waited two days just because they were not honest with me. Tell me the truth and I can live with it.

No notice of canceling service call . Had to call office to find out why nobody showed. This happened twice and then the next appointment was scheduled for two weeks out. Not happy with AFC scheduling.

Limiting to a specific AFC electrician who came and reviewed the situation, promising to get back in touch with me for an estimate. A month has passed and in spite of 3 followup phone calls to AFC, there has been no return on my request.

I was told when the tanks were installed that they would be back in the spring to set them in their place because it was only temp. because of weather. They said they would call and schedule a time in the spring. I never received a call and called in August. Someone came out late in August and marked spots and said they were all ready to go, someone will call within a few business days. Somewhere around 5 or so weeks go by and I call back and we finally get someone out here and they set the tank which is all fine but then they claim they need to get a machine up here, I would assume to dig to put the line, and he didn't realize that. My point being, isn't that why you had someone come out and check the situation out first? Shouldn't have everything been ready to go and finished that day? I couldn't finish that side of the lawn this year 100% because of this. So then, a truck comes and fills the 220 gallon tank that is not yet in use and you guys expect me to pay for that right now? I'm not paying for that until its hooked up to the house and I get a credit for my three tanks that are currently full. Meanwhile, no phone calls from you guys.... I don't want to be nasty but I can't say I'm all that impressed so far.
