Upon arriving and lifting the top off the tank, he immediately said that he needed to replace the entire mechanism at a cost of $300+. I immediately balked at that since the toilet is new - installed...

Upon arriving and lifting the top off the tank, he immediately said that he needed to replace the entire mechanism at a cost of $300+. I immediately balked at that since the toilet is new - installed 6 months ago. He then instantly said, that he could see that it had not been installed properly and needed to make a small adjustment. He said he tested it and it was working properly. However, 30 mins. after he left, upon the first flush, the toilet was in the same state as before he came.

On Sunday when we phoned for service we were told they would be there between 1 and 5. at 4pm Pink Plumber phoned to say the techs were backed up and would not be able to get to us. So I had to take a day off from work to be there for them. When our tech, Charles, arrived, he told me they sent him home at 4 pm on Sunday because they had nothing else on the books for him. I was told when scheduling the service that there was a trip charge that not be charged if any work was done. Then when rescheduling the service I was told they would waive the trip charge....Really did not give me anything for the inconvenience.....made it sound like something....but NOT.
