After Hurricane Irma, the ground level of our house on the Battery was an absolute mess. Through Chris and Cooper at Disaster Plus, our situation was vastly improved. They were professional, responsible, hard-working and extremely courteous. We could not have been more pleased, and we recommend them without reservation.

Started with wonderful reviews that they lived up to in all ways. Prompt, professional, explained the steps need to remedy the water damage. Installed their gear, removed wet matter, reassuring me the whole way it would be better. Very personable too. Always felt I could call and get answers immediately. Suggest everyone have their expansion tanks on hot water heater checked. If it goes these are the people to call. They are a family and treat you as if you are a part of it.

I had an unfortunate situation, while replacing a water heater. Don't worry, it wasn't me. It flooded my condo and the 2 units below. Julia, Ryan and her team came out in short time, and got the place cleaned and dried out in a couple days. Julia and Ryan were very respectful to my extreme situation and did an excellent job of explaining the process and confirming the status moving forward. Thank you Julia and Ryan for some good work. You and your team did a great job to resolve this issue in short order. Hopefully I won't have to see you guys again, but if I do, you will be the people I will call. Thank you.

Your company is the best. When I called about our water damage, you arrived in about 30 minutes and wasted no time in getting started. Your crew was very knowlegeable and courteous. The water was cleaned up quickly so the fans could be brought in. Your crew even cleaned out a closet for us so that we could look further for the leak. I would not hesitate to recommend you to a friend. Thank you for helping and God bless.

The problem started when a water filter housing failed and we water was pouring into the laundry room. My wife asked who should we call? My response was to call Disaster Plus (DP) at 843.7.247.247. Chris answered the call, evaluated the situation, and a DP team consisting of Chris and his son Kaleb arrived at our home shortly after. Chris started by taking pictures outside the house followed by pictures of the damage inside. I could tell by his take-charge attitude and his demeanor that Chris is a professional and experienced restoration Project Manager. Chris was knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic. We discussed the process DP would follow, more than once, my wife and I were in shock. Chris and Kaleb went to work like a well-oiled team. The water was extracted from the carpet, moisture readings were taken, appliances were moved, the damage to the (hard wood floor, carpet, pad and linoleum) were assessed. A dehumidifier and 6 or 7 fans were brought in to start the drying process. With all the above done Chris explained that we needed to let the fans and the dehumidifier run, as installed, until DP returned on Monday. First thing Monday morning a DP team (consisting of Jake and another Chris) arrived to check on the status of the drying process by taking moisture readings. They also remove the hardwood floor, the linoleum, and the carpet padding. The removal was done quickly and they cleaned up when they were done. Unfortunately, everything was not dry enough to remove all the equipment. Jake repositioned the fans so they would have the most effective drying potential in the areas that were not completely dry. Tuesday morning the DP team arrived to take new moisture readings. In some areas, the moisture readings were still not low enough and required another day of drying. Again, the fans were repositioned appropriately. Finally, Wednesday morning all moisture readings were within acceptable limits and all the drying equipment was removed. With everything dry there was a welcome silence. I highly recommend Disaster Plus. When you need, restoration help just call 843-7-247-247. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

My wife called me and said she had just arrived home and we had water pouring out of the garage door from a broken pipe on the second floor - I remembered the radio spot about "Call 24/7, 24/7" and called the number. Chris answered and within two hours Julia and the troops rolled up to the house in full battle gear - this was two days before Christmas. The crew stayed at the house until 9:30 that night setting up fans and drying equipment. They came back the next day and the day after Christmas to check on the house. Julia stayed in touch with me throughout the ordeal with updates about the work. The crew couldn't have been more professional and courteous. Thank you to all! Job well done.
