As a new home owner here in Maplewood, I wasn't very familiar with how to maintain my furnace. Ed provided extremely helpful information and was patient with all of my many questions. He called me 5 minutes before arriving and cleaned up everything at the end of the service appointment. I would highly recommend Ed P. and Woolley Home to anyone with heating service needs! Woolley responded quickly to our call for help with non functioning heating system and were able to come out the next business day. Ed P quickly identified the problem and was able to fix within an hour. This was the 2nd time we required emergency service from woolley where they responded very quickly. Superb execution of a complex job.
Based on the recommendations by Art D., whom we've relied upon for many years, we embarked on a massive replacement of our entire HVAC system. This included removal of an in-ground fuel oil tank, installation of an above-ground outside fuel oil tank, and replacement of our furnace and air conditioner (including the outside condenser unit and the heat exchanger).
Kevin B. (Service Manager) was extremely attentive, promptly answering my many questions as we jointly coordinated the work of the Woolley technicians, outside contractors, insurance company representatives and the township permitting agency.
David B., Joe F., and Ed P. worked together as a great team, plotting out the best way to organize the multitude of tasks, large and small, and then executing them efficiently with a high degree of craftsmanship and with careful attention to minimizing the disruption of our home. My AC stopped working on a hot August day and I had company coming to town to stay with me the next day! I called Woolley in the evening around 6:30pm and a live answering service picked up the call and took all my information and let me know someone would contact me first thing in the morning. Sure enough at 7:30am I received a call back and by 8:45 a technician, Art, arrived on site! He was wonderful, did a thorough job, talked me through the issue, provided advice going forward and cleaned up everything once he completed the job. He got my AC running again within an hour or so.
