Had a new natural gas furnace installed in our home today. Mike C. and his team did a great job. They disconnected and removed the old furnace and installed the new one. Throughout the process they were very professional and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves but not before checking that the new system worked flawlessly. Couldn't be happier, thank you! On Thursday June 16, 2020, I had completely forgotten about being scheduled for my yearly heater tune-up, until I heard a knock on my door and seeing a man in a Wilson Oil and Propane uniform.
It was Wilson's service technician John Murtagh who entered my home, introduced himself and immediately went to work, on my heater. Following some adjustments, changing of the filter and some advise, Mr. Murtagh was finished his assigned chores and departed for his next challenge.
Mr. David O'Connell, John Murtagh was prompt, courteous, polite, professional, focused and very knowledgeable about the maintenance and daily performance on my heater. Good job, John Murtagh and thank you !!! John M. 07/23/20 |

Ironically, on probably the hottest day in June, I decided to activate my central air conditioning unit. This was my first time turning it on this year and I was looking forward to a little cool relaxation. Well, there was no cool air to be enjoyed. I checked and rechecked the thermostat, still no air. I decided to call Wilson Oil and Propane before the temperature bec**e any hotter. The call taker, I believe was Cathy S*******, was very friendly, concerned and helpful. She kept me on the phone as we were attempting to find a solution. After several minutes of trouble shooting, Cathy decided to dispatch a service technician. At or around fifteen to twenty minutes later, Tarick S**, Wilson's technician arrived. I explained the problem to Tarick and he immediately went to work. Tarick checked the thermostat, the rocker panel, the outside unit, the main breaker and determined that the thermostat was no communicating with the unit. A new thermostat was added and we were back in business. I want to thank Mr. Tarick S** for arriving promptly, for his expertise, for his talent, for his understanding and for his courtesy while at my home. Additionally, thanks to Ms, Cathy S******* for her concern and assistance in solving my problem so quickly. A big shout out to Wilson oil company. Tuesday very early morning (1:00am). My mother realized that her heat was off and called Wilson. Within an hour a service man was there and fixed the problem. This isn't the first time my mother has had heating problems in the middle of the night, each time a service man was sent right away. This has not gone unnoticed!! My mother and I both very much appreciate your unique dedication to great customer service. A lot of other companies could take a page out of your book. Also thank you to the service man who got out of his warm bed and helped my mother. I am house sitting and I had an emergency with the air conditioner on a Saturday morning, I called the answering service and Mike C. got back to me in 10 minutes, he was here within the hour. Mr. David O'Connell, Business Manager read this: On Wednesday, June 19th, my 18 month old central air conditioner started to blow hot air. That day was very warm and I was a little annoyed, to say the least. I decided to email Wilson.
Bright and early the next morning, I answered a knock at my front door. As I checked, I was met by a young man, holding his business card. He introduced himself as Mike Campbell. He apologizes for my having problems with my HVAC unit and he immediately went to work.
Mr. Campbell explained each phase of the work he was doing and in no time he was done. My system was back up and running. Mr. O'Connell, your staff member, Mike Campbell, is conscientious, respectful, courteous, professional, hard working and very knowledgeable of his profession. customer Service: Cindy! excellent customer service Award!! made a call today to clarify billing, spoke with Cindy. She listened to my question/concern and patiently discussed with me my situation. she reviewed my account. she analyzed my data. she explained what she was seeing and what I was seeing. She then gave me options of how I could proceed. she not only met my expectations but exceeded them. professionally I am involved with some aspects of customer service and Cindy DELIVERED in all the areas we focus on: professionalism, patience and KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCT. she 'knew the business inside and out'. John M did a great job during our annual cleaning. He knew what he was doing. He made sure to show respect regarding our home. Whether it was putting on shoe covering to making sure everything around the heater was clean and neat. The most important part was he made sure everything was up and running properly. We’ve been a customer with Wilson for a little under a year but have already been impressed with their level of service and professionalism. Our furnace stopped working on the coldest night of the year so far and they were out at our house in 30 minutes. We have a wifi tank monitor on our oil tank and it has been great. Both Wilson and I know how much we have. We update our router, and could not get the monitor to respond. They sent out Mike C. and he got the monitor up and running without an issue. A few days later we had our oil delivery when the tank monitor signaled we were low. We are very grateful to Wilson Oil and their employees, and have been with them going on 10 years! Thank you to David, Wayne, Larry, Mike C. and the receptionists at the front office. We found that our original oil tank, from 1956, had a leak. A gentleman named Gregory set us up with a solution. Wilson sent Jeff and Lenny to install a new exterior oil tank, pump out the oil from the old one into the new, and seal it off. All this done in about 4 hours, in very cold conditions! My furnace was puffing out black smoke, then cut out completely. Mike C. came out on a Sunday night and helped unclog and clean out the boiler from all the soot. Had strong scent of oil throughout the house called Wilson and since we always buy service contract Mike was there within an hour and fixed our problem. Mike was courteous and professional and even wore the booties over his shoes while in the house. We purchase the service contract every year just for times like this. Jeff was excellent. The whole Wilson team handled my conversion from oil to gas in a very professional manner. They removed my old oil tank very cleanly, did not spill any oil in my basement. They handled to removal of the old burner, and installation of the new burner without making a mess. I have had them for many years (at least 10), and have always found them to be professional, and very customer service oriented. This is the second time this month we had to call for service, we have two heaters, last week our second floor heater acted up. This week the first floor heater decided to act up.
