*** * our coordinator was excellent - his estimate was right on and there were no hidden surprises. He explained what Verity will do and what they were responsible for - leading up to the move he checked in to see how we were dog and offered suggestions along the way for us to save some ************* was a pleasure to work with .***** the truck supervisor / ***** and the other team members who packed the truck and unloaded the truck were fantastic. they took care of our items like it was their own . from the minute I spoke to ********************* I knew I was going to have a GREAT MOVE with Verity! Rob put me to ease when we face timed in my apartment going over what was going to be moved down to my new home in *******- told me how many boxes he thought I would have and sent me a estimate within 24 hours. Worked with ******* to get the insurance needed for my high rise apartment that I was concerned how long it would take to move my stuff out- I worked with Rob to secure a date and time and we were all set!the day of the move I got a call from the drive **** who told me exactly what time he and his partner would be there.....spot on! What PROS!!! Worked diligently and effortlessly with a very difficult service elevator in a 400 apartment building! SPOT on they were done by 2pm like he thought and I was on my way....and so was he with moving me down to *******.**** gave me his number and he told me he would call over the weekend to give me a estimated date and time of when he would arrive......not to my surprise he did and today I could say I would ONLY USE AND RECOMMEND VERITY!!! **** and his partner in ******* plowed through the boxes and furniture...set it up exactly were it needed to be placed- counted each box with me that was in perfect condition! They say moving is suppose to be one of the most stressful times in your life.......well I could say I was lucky enough to have a team of movers from start to finish put that thought at ease!! thank you THANK YOU to the team at Verity- what a GREAT FAMILY to work with! Verity was a very easy choice for us. very personable, professional, and GREAT customer service from everyone at this company. we recommend them highly, reasonable rates and quick service. They gave us a window of 10 days, but they went from *** to ************, ******* in just 2 days. *** and *** did our move and they were fantastic, they checked to make sure everything was put in whatever room we wanted, and even had to move some things around when we suddenly changed what room we wanted something in. Moving is without a doubt one of the most stressful times possible - we were looking for a good moving company to move from Queens NY to North Carolina for a 3 BR apt on a 3rd floor walk up during the busiest moving week of the year (last wk of June) with less than one months notice - and Verity to our rescue. After being recommended to us by 2 other families, they had our date range available and sent the estimate guy right away to do an in-person inventory of our stuff. He ended up over quoting us (because our driver decided he could fit the entire tractor trailer on our block rather than having to use a shuttle truck as we had originally thought). The 6 movers, Nicole from inventory, and most especially Sean our driver were just simply the BEST - they took all the stress out of the day and the experience in general, on a 100 degree day in NYC. We originally had a pretty long window for delivery to NC, but they were able to tell us succinctly at pick up exactly when drop off would be (and we were also lucky to be the last ones loaded on). They treated our stuff (even the "cheap" stuff) with care and delivered /set up everything they took apart. I cannot rave enough about what a great experience it was, and will continue to recommend them (word of mouth most of all) as I lure more family to follow us down south! Rob J. 07/12/21 |

We’re moved from NYC to Florida, I don’t know why recommended this company to my husband anyway I’m the person who’s did pack all stuff we belong to the boxes and I remember which boxes is because I wrote what inside put on top of a boxes. When the company delivered boxes to new house I tried to open every boxes on next day and I very sure that we lost a boxes of canned food. It’s not in company box that’s why I remember. I tried to contact them back, leave a message to the guy who’s driving a truck even call to the company but they never got back to us. Almost a month that we moved but they never contact us back !!!

We have moved often for work or changes in plans and we won't use any movers - Verity only! They are trustworthy, reliable, total pros. They arrive on time, stay on plan and make the whole mess of moving far easier. We just did two moves, one from a Florida house north and one from a NYC apartment south and were so happy we could hire them for both. Trust me, a 64-year-old baseball mom - we had to use other movers for my old mom twice and discovered the hard way that the big name companies simply pawn off your move to subcontractors. From our consult to our moving day, Verity Van Lines was nothing but amazing! They responded to emails in a timely manner and were punctual the day of our move. I was shocked that they were able to move us from one location to the next in 5 hours! This included packing the van with all of our furniture and unpacking and removing furniture in our new home. Rob, Anthony, and the Gorilla were professional, safe, and careful while moving all of our possessions. My husband and I didn’t have to lift a finger. Verity Van Lines provided a basically carefree moving experience. From my FaceTime estimate with Sal to the unloading with Mike and his guys, Verity was the ultimate in professionalism. We had heard such horror stories of boxes gone missing, damage to furniture and belongings, and unexpected extra charges with other movers. None of this happened with Verity. Sal nailed the estimate, being only $200 off from the actual weighed cost. The team up North, led by driver Mike, was very professional and packed our fragile items such as tvs and computers carefully. Upon arrival in Florida, Mike and the Southern team were great. Fast efficient and very patient regarding placement of furniture.I would recommend Verity without hesitation, as many of our neighbors here in ******** *** in **** ***** ***** have. Everyone i dealt with from the folks on the phone to the packers and the movers were extremely professional. They were friendly and helpful. Explained everything to me and gave me multiple estimates as the amount we were moving kept changing. The day of they were on time and got everything done in the time they quoted me. I would recommend Verity to everybody! I had a team of 4 guys led by Chris. They were all very courteous and respectful but most important they did a phenomenal job! They loaded over 130 cartons plus furniture. They worked non stop from the time they arrived until the last item was unloaded. They took a very short break for some pizza. I wanted to commend the team you sent to us to pick us up from Merrick and get us safely down to the Tampa area. Not only were all of the guys personable but genuinely took the time to make sure all of our belongings were safe and packed into the truck in the utmost BEST condition.

I knew about the company from moving my parents about 40 ears ago. I called and made an appointment for a quote. Sal came to the house he was very professional and Honest with us he said they were booked but would get us moved all he needed was a closing date which at that time could not give him. When we finally got one we called and he got us moved on time. The day they came to move us Joe P showed up with his crew they protected the furniture etc. They told us he would meet us at our new location 2 days later and he was there. they unloaded in 2 hours there was no damage loading or unloading i see why they are around as long as they have been. Our move from home of 56 years went off without a hitch. Starting with Rob Johnson who gave us an estimate. He was very professional and we were able to reach him any time with questions. The day of the move, Chris and Tim arrived. They introduced themselves and proceeded with the job of emptying our home of all our belongings. They took great care with everything. We cannot say enough about both men. The following day Chris and Tim delivered all the furniture and boxes with the same care and concern that they showed us the day before. From the first telephone call to set up the move to the delivery out of state, this was the best experience I have ever had with an organization! Rob Johnson helped me organize this move that was a little complex. There was a delivery of a formal dining room set to another town, pack up furniture and boxes for storage to be moved to Florida later in the year, and the final move to Pennsylvania. Chris was the field manager for the first leg of the trip. Tim, Victor, Sean and Ariel were professional, courteous, and perfect in every respect. While it was the first day of a heatwave, they had their face masks on the entire time. When I mentioned to Chris that I was concerned that the leather sofa “may not” fit through the doorway in PA, right away he disassembled the couch and eased my mind! Chris and Tim were great, and the next day they arrrived in Pennsylvania at 7 am sharp. The furniture was set up and reassembled in each room, and they made sure everything was in working order before they left. I am sure the final trip to Florida will be just as easy with Victor as the field manager, and I have no concerns that my possessions will be handled in the same manner. I cannot say enough about Verity Van Lines. Our situation was a bit complicated but Mike, right from the start said he could handle it. Basically virtually and by phone, Me & mom in Va, my brother in New Paltz and moms house in Mineola, we arranged a full house move for my mom from Mineola NY to Virginia. They not only moved it all but packed everything up!
Everyone we met here in Va was professional and very helpful. Theresa in the office helped us with payment, Chris & Tim were on time, quick but right on top of everything. Anything we asked was answered and done, THANK YOU ALL for making this really unplanned, stressful move at the countries most vulnerable time the calmest easiest time for my family. Dennis and Matt were amazing.. wonderful hard working men!! This was my first move ever and out of state to boot, they made the process so easy for me knowing I had nothing worry about with all my things..from the day of pick up it was them plus Sean to the day they dropped off all of it.
