I had an emergency situation on Labor Day. My shower caused a leak and flooded my laundry room and kitchen pantry. I called Pink Plumber and was given an estimate of 1 hour. Felix R. was at my door in LESS time and he was nothing short of amazing. He was able to find the leak and fix it within a couple of hours. He was so neat and cleaned up the job so well, that other than some sopping wet towels, you would never have known there was a leak at all. I was not able to do the job with your company because the quote was a rip-off. He quoted me $265.00 for replacing the water pressure equipment inside the toilet. that cost me only $13.95 in home depot. A friend was able to do the job in less than an hour for free. 09/05/17 |

Always on time, very professional! Their plumbers use specialized equipment to look into the drains to find the real problems; they don't just guess or make assumptions. Carlos came to the house and was friendly, kept my husband informed of everything he was doing, and after unclogging the drain told us what he found in the space between the 1st and second floors (no water damage), and helped resolve the small leak noticed in the A/C vent on the 1st floor just under the master bathroom. He spent a lot of time, and we only paid $400. Another plumber wanted to charge us $2250 to replace the entire shower floor (rubber liner, concrete) and then we'd have to find a tile person! David Lankford and Edward provided excellent service.
Our kitchen sink faucet was leaking. David helped us pick a new faucet, installed it and re-plumbed all piping under the sink. Also, replaced a drain part at the bottom of one sink after pressure testing all of the work performed.
Their professionalism and courtesy reflect credit upon themselves and the Pink Plumber organization. We highly recommend, and will contact David for our plumbing needs in the future. By the way, the cost was very reasonable. Thanks for a job well done. David L. 08/30/17 |

Richard was great. He identified all areas of concern. Fixed leaks ,put in appropriate pipe where the wrong pipe had been placed. Showed me pictures of areas of concern. Worked efficiently, professionally, and explained all reasons why some things needed repair. He gave me several quotes to decide which was best for us. The quoted price was thousands for a job that would take less than three hours at the most. A waste of my time and now I need to find a reasonable plumber or do the work myself. Top dollar should have been a few hundred as the leak under my slab was already diagnosed by a leak detection company provided by the insurance company. 08/28/17 |

Let's begin with Tech Mr. Salvato. Very nice to work with, knowledgeable and accommodating.
A copper pipe had sprung a leak inside a wall in my garage. Mr. Salvato showed up on a Saturday and tried as much as he could but couldn't locate the leak's exact location, expected, I guess, because the leak was behind the wall.
So, he called for a leak specialist who couldn't make it until the next morning (Sunday.) The leak specialist found the leak in short order. He replaced a 12-inch section of copper pipe from which the leak came. It took him, I am guessing, around 20 minutes or so to do the repair. It looks fine.
Now, let's examine the costs. I realize Mr. Salvato came out on a Saturday and I expected to pay a little more. He spent around an hour or more searching for the leak, which involved cutting two holes in
the soggy fiberboard and drilling out a section of concrete footing.
Therein lies my problem — the cost.
I mentioned I expected to pay more for a Saturday visit, but more than $400?
So, on Sunday the leak tech came out and found the leak in short order and replaced a 12-inch section of copper pipe. I am guessing he spent a short time searching for the leak and spent, I am guessing, 20 minutes on the repair. The cost $461.00. Originally Mr. Salvato quoted me $400 plus another $100 for Saturday’s visit and the Sunday leak repair. I paid $521.88 on Saturday that included, he said, the additional $100 for the leak test on Sunday for the total of $521.88.
On Sunday, the priced changed. He told me the leak test and repair would be around $460 additional. I argued with him and told him we agreed Saturday the total would be $521.88. He said that was the best he could do. I said never mind I was going to get another opinion on the repair and after going back and forth arguing about the price, he dropped the price by $200. Why didn't he quote me that lower price originally? Bait and switch?
He asked me if I would like to have a restoration company estimate the cost of restoration, a company he works with. I said yes.
The restoration company came out Sunday to review the situation. The tech was very nice and said she would sent me a quote my email Monday morning. I said fine, and that I was going to get one or two quotes. She said that was fine with her.
Mr. Salvato looked disturbed shook my hand and left.
The restoration clerk said he was quite mad. I said I noticed that, too. She said he probably was upset because he wouldn't get credit for the referral of her company.
First, I always get more than one quote for any work I need. It is the proper thing to do.
Second, as a journalist we do not trust anyone, because we have been lied to so many times. There is an old saying among t journalists: If you mother tells you something is fine, check the facts.
Third, I do not like to be rushed into my decisions.
That is one of the reasons I would not recommend this company.
Bottom line, I paid a total of $824.69, not including the restoration and replacement I have coming up next.
In my opinion this plumbing company's prices are exorbitant. I don't mind paying my share but to quote a high price and then lower it because of pressure from a customer is dishonest.

Carlos @ The Pink Plumber was wonderful!! I feel like he treated me with respect and did not try to take advantage of me!! I feel the prices were reasonable for the amount of time it took and our particular plumbing situation.
Our pluming problem was a little tricky and he made it his priority to get it done correctly!!
I will definitely be using The Pink Plumber again and will be requesting Carlos!!
I will also be recommending the company and him to my family and friends!!
I chose The Pink Plumber over other well known plumbing busness because of previous bad experience with another big name company. I also love their values and that part of my money goes to support breast cancer awareness!!

I had another plumber quit a project on me and Richard and Pink Plumbers came out in a Fri. night, sized up what was needed, and was back the next day with another plumber and finished my big project that day! We had service technician Marat S.do our emergency service. He was very professional and friendly when he explained to us what the problem was...The price he first quoted was out of our price range and I told him we are on a fixed income and just couldn't afford at this time. He went outside and talked to someone at the office and when he returned he gave us a price that we could afford to work with and continued the job...He did an outstanding job to fix the problem and we thank Marat for a job well done...He was so nice and went beyond the call of duty to help us...Thank you Marat and The Pink Plumber for an understanding heart and for supporting Breast Cancer Research...We should have more companies like you and you will stay on our list as our plumbing company...Again Thank You All for a job well done....Bonita Werz.
