Wow. I was just blown away by the excellent professional experience with Standard Plumbing and James White. My first contact was with Renee in the office. She was extremely friendly and, realizing how urgent my AC needs were, scheduled me for the next morning. Then it even got better when James came out on time and fixed my issue promptly. He explained what he did and he gave me tips to maintain my AC System. His professionalism is second to none. Thank you James. We scheduled annual maintenance for our heating and cooling system. A problem with the water heater was discovered. Standard Plumbing diadema us aware of the problem. We were given a quote and work was scheduled for the following day. The service was excellent. The attention to putting on protection to their feet and laying covering on the carpets was done without being asked. Standard plumbing prevented what would have been a major problem if not taken care of. Excellent service. (See More)

He fully explained the need for upgrading our HVAC systems, ordered the new equipment, scheduled the project in a reasonable amount of time and completed the installation on time. He kept the workspace clean and left our carpet clean while working. We had one small issue with a small drip leak overnight, but James quickly fixed the leak when he arrived. James really knows what he's doing (as do ALL of the Standard Plumbing service professionals who have done work at our home). He came to our home about a month ago for the annual inspection of our unit, installed about a year ago. He did a thorough, professional job, and replaced the air filter before he left. The next day, we noticed a pulsating, whirring sound in the system we hadn't heard before, and after "living with it" a few days to see if it would go away, decided to let Standard Plumbing know about the new sound. I took our check to Standard yesterday for the new filter, and James was there, so we talked about the new sound. He came out this morning, found the cause, and resolved the issue. He's a good one. James and the other technician were very courteous and professional during removal of the old/installation of the new air conditioner and furnace. They were both very helpful in explaining how to operate the new thermostat and made sure to clean up once the project was completed. Schedule updates were provided at the end of each day and they did a great job of staying true to their schedule. We appreciate their being so knowledgeable about the new system and their hard work! James came over to help me find a filter on my furnace, and found it right away. It was in a place that was definitely not expected and even difficult to get to. He took a look at both of our furnaces (one on main level and one on the second level) and told me the age of them. He proceeded to tell us about the program to have the units checked twice a year and the costs involved. He was very thorough about what all was involved in the service calls and that there were no extra charges for weekends, nights, or holidays. ******** did a thorough job servicing my furnace for the fall/winter/spring cold weather. He was pleasant to me and friendly to my dog. My only gripe is that he did not put the hose running from the dehumidifier back into the drain, and I had some water on the floor later when I went back into the utility room. Nothing major. They were "ON TIME" which is huge when you work. They are very friendly and explain things to you. They will show you things about your AC and Heating. I'm really tired of the word "awesome" to describe things like a 99-cent burrito, but "awesome" accurately reflects the truly excellent service we had from James W. He arrived on time, put on his booties, and went to work. There was a lot to do. The humidifier didn't work and needed to be replaced, but the bigger problem for us was the original thermostat. It was a programmable model that had all kinds of week-long heating & cooling options--but NOT an easy way to simply adjust the temp up or down! James installed an easy-to-understand Emerson unit that was just what we had hoped for. We were amazed that he was able to finish his work by noon. My name is Hector. I leave in Junction City for the last six years. You know that when is cold here is pretty dam cold. At the same time when is hot this can go 3 digits hot. After my A/C quit to work and a HORROR hot summer time we finally found the RIGHT person to save our live. His name is James W. from Standard Plumbing, Heating, & Air in Manhattan. James fix the problem in less that 30 minutes. The day before another person came and said that the problem was fixed. The other person name Curry or Corey from Roger Ice machine service and repair in Topeka was wrong after he change the thermostat. James W. is a genius on his job. Our heater went out recently and our two parts took longer than expected due to the big storm that hit out East. We ordered our part on Monday and by Friday at noon, we found out our part did not arrive on the shipment. Standard offered to put in loan parts until our official parts arrived to keep us warm. That same Friday around 4:00 James was sent over to put in the loan parts. He was very friendly and also covered his shoes with plastic covers before entering the house. He replaced what he brought but realized he needed an additional part. Informed me that he was going to run back to the office to see if they had one in-house and if not, he would figure something out. James returned and by 5:15 we were up and running!
