After determining the cause of the problem and finding out that the part needed would not be available for 2 or 3 days, he devised a temporary solution that enabled me to continue using the AC. After having my furnace go out on a very cold night, David spent time on the phone trying to troubleshoot the problem. He offered to come after hours to come fix it. I knew it would be okay until morning so asked if he could come the next day. Though he was booked, he worked me in on over his lunch hour and got it back up running. We have had problems with out bathroom stool allowing water to pass through it, which meant we were constantly hearing sounds as the tank refilled. We hired another plumber to fix the problem, but they were unsuccessful, saying the only solution was an entirely new stool. We contacted Standard, who put in a kit to replace the parts installed by the previous plumber. That fix was temporarily successful, but after a few days the problem surfaced again. Standard returned and put in a different flushing mechanism at no additional charge and solved our problem. (See More)

David is an outstanding employee. He was very helpful and got our AC running, but his awesomeness goes beyond that. We got squeezed in that day, but he did not rush to get on to the next job, or back to his regular schedule. I feel like he not only went out of his to get to the AC running, but he didn’t let down pour rain stop him. He just did what he needed to do to make it happen. I would have appreciated more if the technician would have explained what he did once it was done. He installed new valve and explained that well. In seeing the unit after; he moved pipe to more of the front of water heater. Assume that he felt this more practical but would have liked him to point that out and tell me his thoughts. David W. Definitely went above and beyond helping me with my emergency furnace issue. Even before he was 'on the clock' he allowed me to sending him pictures of the problem and even walked me through some simple trouble shooting so I could solve it on the spot. He took good care to explain to me what the problem was, possible causes, and what he did to solve it. Very professional, I'll definitely ask for him again if I need any help. (See More)

David (I am not sure which one) and Standard Plumbing went above and beyond to help our tenants and myself over a weekend with below zero temperatures. Our tenant lost heat and later water. David made sure they had space heaters, made several trips for a problem part, and helped with the frozen pipes. Each time we called, he always responded immediately. I know he had over 80 calls over the weekend but he was extremely responsive, respectful and honest during our interactions. Last summer they also worked quickly to order and install a new A/C unit when our tenant's were without A/C in 100 degree weather. THANK YOU SO MUCH! (See More)

The representative was polite. But he did not have a mask on when he came to the door. I had to ask him to please put on a mask before he entered our home. He went to the truck and got a mask. Please require all workers to wear a mask when they are in someone's house. This shows that your company cares about your customers' health. Also, he never told me his name, so I had to guess in order to answer this survey. (See More)
