Our 30-year-old heat pump died suddenly, and AJ was out the next day taking measurements and giving an estimate. AJ was very friendly and knowledgeable, and expertly answered my many questions. He worked us quickly into their tight schedule, and in less than two days, as promised, we had a new Carrier heat pump. We had gotten 30 years of service out of our old heat pump, but it suddenly died. I phoned Stafford Mechanical that afternoon, and the next day AJ was at our home taking measurements and giving us an estimate. They fit us quickly into their already crowded schedule, and did the work in less than two days, as they promised. AJ is an excellent foreman who answered patiently my many questions. I recently had a new boiler installed in my home. The installation was started and finished on time .I was impressed by the quality of the work, the technicians who were professional,friendly and readily answered any questions I had. About a month after the installation I called to discuss a minor problem( intermittent vibration noise from the exhaust pipe). A technician was sent immediately and took care of this. We recently had Stafford Mechanical install 2 ductless Heating/AC units in our house. Can't say enough good things about this company. Would recommend them to anyone as their 1st choice. The installers were very polite, professional and knew what they were doing. The clean up after was immaculate and not a trace that they were in our home except for the units installed. Greg Cyr is a top notch sales representative for this company. No matter what I asked him he had all the answers. Very professional and I feel a great addition to this company. Bob explained every detail about the scope of work during the quoting process. Additionally, Bob was able to prioritize our job due to not having hot water. The crew was very thorough and professional and explained the new system to us. I am very OCD so I was pleased with the attention to detail and the fact that Stafford's installation work will make future servicing easier by having shutoffs and drains for each zone. Recently had Stafford Mechanical install central air into an existing home. They were very conscientious when deciding where vents were going to be placed as well as the condenser unit. I can't say enough good about their employees, especially Vern and Adam. They arrived when they said they would be there, were thoughtful when coming in and out of the house and mostly were wonderful when dealing with my three dogs being nosey and checking to see what they were doing. process was as simple and straight forward as it gets. SM listened to us then designed the system. Whole process from beginning to end was done professionally. I had a mini split heat/ac system installed plus hybrid water heater as suggested by energy audit company. I was concerned with the outside appearance of the ductwork. some installation were about as unappealing as you can imagine. Greg designed and the team install our ductwork with one single duct up each end of the house. they ran lines inside the attic (had to be cold up there) so minimal outside exposure. My neighbor was a little jealous. I liked the teamwork as they discussed the project before beginning. The workers were courteous, friendly, and answer any question me or the wife had. Neat and Clean. Gave us a primer on operation. We are learning how to use system to our advantage. We call with questions and answers are provided. The system was not cheap, but I had other quotes from other companies (one of which just went out of business) and Stafford was well within the ballpark. Good experience!
