David, the estimator, made accurate measurements of the materials needed so there was not an excessive amount of leftovers which would have jack up the cost.
The installers, Ishmel and Phil, were very professional, they wore face masks, and cleaned up after installation removing all the trash.

i thought that it was very professionaly done. I was a little concerned when the worker could not speak english and had to use an Ipad to communicate. After working with him it got okay. He did good work and although the communication was slow it turned out okay. I was a little disappointed in the TILE because the sample really doesn't show all the details and some of the tiles looked like dirty finger prinat. I was assured that it was part of the design. You need to let customer's know this in the beginning. I would probable be a little hesitant in referring some one to this tile. Thomas I. 09/11/20 |

Thomas Was a delight to deal with, since the loaner and sins because it was no nonsense approach to providing information that could be going on including delivery and install dates and time estimates who won the product will be available even though the product was not a stock item and a color match that could go either way. David from Simas is pretty great as a consultant. When it came to selection installation of our wood floors a few years ago everything went well.
This time around we needed carpet on our stairs replaced due to someone spilling bleach on a few spots. David was great at making recommendations for a solution that would work and wouldn’t require replacing all of our carpet which was mostly in great shape.
His communication was fantastic.
Challenges came the day of service. We had a window of arrival for 8am-10am. My husband was at home that day and called at 5 after 10 to say no one had arrived. I called the scheduler who immediately reached out to the installer. She called me back to inform me that he had been assigned another job for the morning by his supervisor and no o e had informed her. He said he could make it to our place by noon.
Luckily, my husband was able to rearrange meetings so that we could still get the install done that day.
However, this was inconvenient and required us to have to adapt to what we’d been told would be our window for time based on miscommunication by Simas.
The install occurred and looks like good quality thus far. However, I didn’t give a 5 because we were pretty disappointed by the issue with not arriving on time and want to make sure they fix any scheduling/communication issues they have internally. David H. 07/29/19 |

We called Simas Floor & Design to schedule a appraisal and recommendation on flooring. Sales Agent, Thomas Irwin contacted us the same day. Thomas is friendly, and knowledgeable. He reviewed our four different types. His recommendation was laminate in entrance (tile was there), family room (rug was there), halls and den (laminate dark). Thomas mentioned to provide laminate through out the entire house including bedrooms and kitchen for a better flow. We did not replace the bedrooms or kitchen, as this time. Our choice of laminate color Navajo (brushed light) to match our walls.
Foreman Raho, apprentice Gustavo and Fernando arrived on time to deliver materials and discuss the install. Fernando (alone) removed all the flooring in one day, which took extra time due to laminate ontop of laminate. Fernando began the install of laminate in the living room late afternoon. Gustavo and Fernando arrived the next day to finish the install hall, den and office. Fernando finished the base board. I was amazed not one mark to the walls. I was very pleased with the flooring installed for me in April 2018 by Simas Flooring. Thomas, the estimator was very knowledgeable about the carpets, nylon fiber longevity, and vinyl flooring and colors that would be helpful to my decision on flooring. He especially went out of his way to meet a very tight time frame to be estimated and contract accepted on a Friday and three working days later to have the job completed and in an excellent skilled result!! I had done flooring with this company approx 26 years ago on a different house and that flooring has lasted, so I called them with this new job. Very professional and competent and they listened to my needs and time frames and were very solution oriented to help me. I finally have a new floor that is durable, pet friendly, modern and compliments my old kitchen cabinet with a great big help from Thomas who has rescued me with his floor expertise from start to finish. I went into Simas trying to rectify a mistake I made which is buying flooring on my own without professional help. I am new at home remodeling and did not realize that some things can really go wrong without professional help.
