I recently called Scott English Plumbing for a water issue and they responded quickly. Since it was after hours, the service took my info and let me know their ETA, and James(Jimi) and Isaiah were on time. James M. solved our problem of "vibrating pipes" by replacing a toilet's innards. He was quick and efficient. He showed me how the toilet worked and when he was done he showed me exactly what was done to fix the problem.
He was sent by my HOA and was clear in explaining that this repair was not their responsibility but mine.

As a Board member of our Fullerton association community, I would like to warn other associations of the flat rate charged for a simple repair of a copper line. The flat rate charge was $950.00 and will be billed to the member. I asked for a breakdown of the charge into parts and labor to determine what the labor charge was for 2 hours of labor at the after hour rate. The company refused. Two other HVAC companies came to my house, one said the heater blowing cold air was my HOA's problem, the other said I needed to replace a zone valve and he would "only" charge me $900. Both were sent by my home warranty company who of course doesn't cover zone valves. Anyway I ran into Chris with SEP in my community parking lot, he gave me a soft quote of what a zone valve replacement would cost and I made an appointment. Well he came today, flipped some other valve from an off to on position and now I have hot air again. SIMPLE FIX! My wedding ring fell off and went down the shower drain yesterday morning! I was panicked!
I googled plumbers in Ladera Ranch and Scott English Plumbing came up.
The customer service rep was on top of it. She put me on hold for just a moment and was able to send someone out within 1 1/2 hours.
The technician tried to suction out but ended up using a coat hanger and retrieved my ring right away. Polite, professional, efficient.

On 12/22 right before the holiday weekend, I had another main line clog. Darryl was dispatched at 8:30PM and did the most thorough, professional job. He was quiet (due to the late hour), went through all the pricing with me, very organized, cleaned everything before going and was just a really nice guy. I asked him to give some pointers to the plumber from same company that came one month earlier, as I believe the approach Darryl took to solve the problem could have been done the first time and saved me a second call. Just one item about dispatch, the call went in at 5:15PM and I waited till 7:00PM and called for an ETA. Dispatch called back and said they called 2 hours prior and left a voicemail. No missed call and no voicemail because I had been glued to my phone for 2 hours. Regardless, they made it right and Darryl arrived at 8:30. He cleaned the clog and did camera work on the main line and was out by 11:00PM. i would definitely use this company again. I hope if there is follow up work (pending evaluation from my association) that Darryl is aligned to the work as he conveys trust and confidence that it will be done right the first time. Thank you!
