Daniel came to my home for a winter service check of our HVAC system. Very nice young gentleman who was very careful to not track in dirt by using his blue shoe covers. He checked everything, and explained the parts to my furnace in the garage and how the system works. He also let me know wth a system as old as ours, carbon monoxide was a risk and I could buy a monitor for protection. Reliable has always provided superb service! Teddy is a real asset to Reliable H&A. He came to our home to address some issues with our recently installed 5 ton Maytag unit. He was friendly, professional, and made us feel that finding a fix to our problem was a priority to him. The issues that Teddy addressed are much improved. I've used Reliable in the past and they live up to their name. I had the fan go out on our AC/heat, called Reliable around noon and a technician (Larry) showed up by three. He initially diagnosed it as the fan itself but from experience changed out the board (cheaper and easier) which turned out to be the issue. Issue was fixed in less than an hour. Yesterday was the second time my scheduled maintenance was performed by Cleatus. Just like last time, he spent quite a while here. When he leaves, I feel confident that my equipment was thoroughly cleaned, checked, adjusted, left in tip-top shape. On a Sunday night when the temps are starting to reach 80 inside your house, I will have to say that Reliable came through in a big way.
The service call fee was not out of line for a weekend and Billy did a great job. He was in and out in a very efficient time frame. He diagnosed the problem and had the part on the truck. All around, Barbara and I are very pleased.

What a super group of people to work with! It started with Teddy coming over on a Sunday to trouble-shoot fan blower and he was able to get our 26 year furnace blower to limp through two weeks before we could replace system. He was frank and honest about our system being old and parts would be expensive. Next came Dave Dameron who sold us our new system after he patiently listened to all my questions. After our vacation Gary and Jake showed up to remove old system and install new units. They worked very hard but they also seemed to have much fun doing their work. It was a pleasure to visit with them as they worked. They got the A/C up and running perfectly. Carl "the gas man" came a couple of days later to make connections to heating side. Again, a great guy (as well as his helper). Finally, Billy showed up today to make final connections to humidifier system to furnace and he trouble-shooted the system and got it operational in no time. So by my count I interacted with seven employees of Reliable and I truly enjoyed each interaction. Job well done folks! I am proud to say Reliable is my heating and air conditioning company! We have a maintenance agreement with Reliable Heating and Air Conditioning. Maintenance/Service is done to the unit twice a year. Cleatus G. has been to our home for at least 3 of those visits. Always professional and kind, he offers tips to save us money, cleans and checks the unit. I feel confident in his knowledge and skills since we haven't had an issue with the unit going down. Prices were very high on breaker and box. Those parts could have been bought at a fraction of what you charged at HD or Lowe's. Example, a double pole 30 amp breaker you charged $74.00. That very same breaker is less than $20.00 at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware and most anywhere else. Same for the box. 07/12/16 |

Reliable heating and Air is on time every time in my experience. Technicians are skilled and also very personable and offer technical advisement based on findings during service that isn't forced upon you to make you feel pressured. We also by being on annual contract that is priced super great at less than $100 get a discount on parts and in breakdown situations get treated like VIP's and moved to top of the service list, that's fantastic!
