I was very pleased with the service we received from Pratt Plumbing. Everyone from the receptionist, to Gary (the owner), to John our service provider was helpful, courteous, and professional. Our water heater had gone out and they were quick to get a new one installed for us. John especially was very knowledgeable, did an excellent job installing our new heater (and everything else!), and made sure we knew how to best take care of it for future use. I would highly recommend Pratt Plumbing for your home repairs. We were very pleased with the service they provided to us to repair several gas leaks under our house and replace the gas line in our yard. Gary responded very promptly to give us an estimate for the repairs and offered some alternative suggestions for ways to reduce the repair costs compared to the other estimate we were given. John, our service man, was very polite and helpful. He kept us informed of the problems and what he was doing to fix them. He was very thorough and persistent in finding the leaks. I've had such great experiences with Pratt! Kiel has been my technician twice and has done such great work. Tonight I called after hours with a water leak - he was here within 30 minutes and got everything fixed and even cleaned up. Damon and Felix were a hard working crew. Upon arriving on the scene, they set to work without delay. Some of the work included digging up the old underground gas line. The heavy moist clay soil made for difficult digging but they stayed with it without dead time. I am confident when the process is completed I will have a safe leak free gas feed into our home to operate the furnace and water heater. Reg Armstrong Today, January 19, 2015 Damon and Felix came to my house at 9am to locate leak(s) in the gas line servicing my house. They were courteous professional hard proficient servicemen. They dug a new gas line through heavy wet clay soil. There was a bad leak in the line form the gas meter to the house. They replaced the old gas line. Finding small leaks in the house gas lines was challenging and arduous. They worked tirelessly to find several small leaks. Damon and Felix made the most of the allotted time and accomplished significant work. I give them 5 stars for their contribution to advancing the restoration of my gas service. Another plumbing company told us that our septic system was full. After calling out the septic guys, they pumped a little and confirmed our suspision that this was not true. We called Pratt, Kiel came out promptly, diagnosed the issue as a root ball and cleared up the problem in no time. The washer drain was slow and had begun to overflow and try as we might, we couldn't seem to get it cleaned out on our own. We called Pratt Plumbing and Mike F.and Damon W. responded. Mike found that the drain opening was narrowed down to about the size of my index finger going through the P-trap. Mike, with Damon's assistance, rebuilt the entire drain system and put in an external cleanout so that we could access it easily through the wall if it ever stopped up again . Damon replaced the faucets and also cleaned the drain in the bathroom sink for us. We have used Pratt's Plumbing for years and they always do a wonderful job and I recommend them to everyone.. Kiel was here to remedy our slow home drain. He analyzed the problem and stayed with it until the problem was fixed properly.
