Jonathan C from Pacific Aire recently made a repair call for our AC unit. He checked the system diligently and determined that in spite of my concern of low refrigerant it was working properly. He fixed one potential reason the system was not able to cool as well as I would like, namely air leakage from the attic into the blower system. He also identified the need to change the attic ducting to materials with a better insulation value.

Frederick D. came to our house to do routine service on our air conditioner. He also checked furnace and cleaned the blower fan. It was a pleasure to work with him. He explained everything in great detail and gave us recommendations on our air conditioner and the air ducts in the attic. I think he went the 'extra mile' on this service visit. I always respect the service techs and don't take my frustration out on them , the customer service reps makes and cancels the appointments. I don't think the reps understand that the field techs has to face the angry customers because of cancellations. This is why I think the reps do a two customer ride along and then maybe the reps would have a better understanding of the process. 07/03/15 |

As always the service tech are very polite and knowledgeable on the equipment.
I can not say the same for the service reps that answer the phones and make or cancel our appointment on your end, not the customers fault.
I recommend the customer service people do a two customer ride along, to understand what the service techs do.

George Fimbres is a valuable employee of Pacific Aire with a great deal of knowledge. He came to our house to troubleshoot a non-functional AC on a hot day, quickly detected what the problem was, and fixed it right away. He also gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to save energy by adding certain types of insulation to our attic, as well as other useful information. George is personable, friendly, and a true professional. Pacific Aire is a company you can depend on. They are not the cheapest but they come to the rescue quickly and get the job done right. My service Technician was Jonathan C. Amazing and professional service and advice of the highest level. I highly recommend Jonathan and what a great asset he is to Pacific Air. Not only did the technician spend time explaining every step and detail, they were very careful to not come into my home with shoes, took great pride in leaving everything clean and neat. I wish more companies had great guys like Jonathan. Even though they try and sell you on a monthly plan, realistically if you do the math, it does pay for itself within the year, Jonathan did not push the plan on me but made simple suggestions and respected my decision. It doesn't appear that they adhere to the flyers they send out or that the tech even knew about the flyer, since at the end he asked to see it. I feel completely scammed! A mailer arrives says "as a valued client" then goes on to offer "$69 for a 20 point AC precision tune up and professional cleaning". Well guess what my 69$ paid for? The tech to come and tell me my system is old and needs to be cleaned!!! Seriously? I told them that when I called to set appt. false false advertising. John was very nice but didn't seem to have any idea as to why he was here. The appointment was NOT for an inspection which is all I got. At the end almost 2 hours later, what a waste of time, he said "well if nothing else you paid for piece of mind" really? Pay 69$ to tell me I have piece of mind? Scam scam scam is what happened here. I guess if enough people pay that "valued client fee" they make money. Beware they are only "50 people strong" so they need a paycheck somehow. No recommendations at all. Jonathan C. 06/14/15 |

I called to schedule the 69$ tune up and cleaning for your "valued clients". I told the lady on the phone that I beleived you were out a few years ago and that it has been awhile since cleaning and that my unit was old. She couldn't find my name in the system...I now know why. It was not your company... How can you say "we missed you" when you never were here before! My mistake for believing the flyer instead of going through my records and finding the company that has been here. When John showed up he was polite, almost too polite. As soon as he looked at the unit and started saying level 6 and level 4, I was confused and concerned. Told him shut it up and thank you, have a nice day. He then said ok but he had a few things to do. I did not know another 45 mins would be spent looking outside. I had already said I wasn't paying for service with you!!! Then without a tune up or cleaning he says 69$ please and gives me this notebook piece of paper with what appears to be quotes? Not too professional and to Pay for an inspection that I didn't ask for? Then he wants to see the flyer. He had NO idea about this flyer you are sending out. I feel completely scammed and will make it known to anyone that asks. I left a message for a manager to call me to see if this can be resolved and have also advised my bank regarding payment of the check as it will be in dispute for non service. Monday I will contact the better business bureau for assistance if I have no resolve direct with you. Yes, the resolve is return my check and let's go our own way. I should not have had to pay for an inspection that seemed to take forever and that I did not order!
My appt was cleaning and tune up which was not provided. Oh John did say "sorry you thought I wasted your time but all systems are a learning experience for me" so consumers pay to train your techs? He didn't even know how to use my thermostat!!!! Very very upset with the whole thing. 06/14/15 |
