Jeremy was outstanding. I usually do my own plumbing as I used to be pretty handy with just about anything but I'm getting up in age now and really appreciate the job he did. This is the first time in about 15 years I've used a plumber but if I have a problem again, I will indeed call Lake Cook Plumbing Service, Inc., and I'll try to get Jeremy back as well. I have had a few plumbing companies complete work or do estimates in the several years I've lived here. One was great, but is no longer working in my area. 2nd one was unbelievably expensive and rather creepy to tell the truth. Lake Cook installed a water heater in 2007 - working great and no issues. Reasonably priced and installed quickly.
I called them again after #2 plumbing company (has a smiley face on their logo) gave me very little info and a "take it or leave it, cos you're going to call me again" attitude.
Mike was GREAT! He explained the issue, showed me what was wrong, gave me options and replaced the device quickly and easily. I got an upgraded device and it was still BELOW the cost quoted by #2.
All done in about 45 minutes!!
Can't say enough good things. I will definitely call them again if needed.

Used them to repair leak from bathroom sink. My main issue and warning to anyone using them is if they have to cut a hole in your walls, etc. They won't fix the hole or give you any help in finding a repair person. Very difficult to find someone to come in to repair drywall/plaster on such a small job. Most handyman services want to charge 99 dollars just to come and give you an estimate. After 2 days and 10 or so calls no luck yet. Also in doing the necessary work there was a good deal of no doubt necessary banging on the pipes to repair the leak. In their check of the repairs afterwards they noted that the nearby toilet was now leaking. Only wonder if the sink repair might have dislodged the toilet seal. For that repair another charge. Backed up sink in a condo. The plumber who came did not fix the problem with the snake he had and charged me $350!! He left an appalling mess under the sink, in my bathroom and on wooden floors. I had a laundry utility sink faucet replaced and a new toilet installed because of their age both these items could not be fixed. Jeremy was right on time the first day and installed the new faucet but had to return the next day with the replacement toilet. He was right on time was done in the 45 minutes he estimated it would take. The only comment I have is that the products used and work performed was a bit pricey, more than I expected. A few days ago, our hot water tank failed. My wife and I naturally were anxious to have such a necessary function restored, and first thing in the morning, called Lake Cook Plumbing. Within a couple of hours they sent their serviceman, Jeremy, who quickly determined the cause and our options for repair. Prior to calling Lake Cook Plumbing I call another company and was told they would be out in a couple of hours. I called them 3X and once again they never came out, and didn’t even call me to explain. The next day , they ( the other company) showed up at my door and looked at my situation. He had no idea what was wrong , until I help him understand my own diagnosis. Needless to say I didn’t use this company.
Thank goodness I found Lake Cook Plumbing. I can’t express how experienced, honest, and consumer friendly Mike E is. He did an amazing job, and I will definitely use him again, and you should as well.
If you have any Plumbing problems call Lake Cook Plumbing, you will be happy you did.
