DJ was my technician today. I have had Gene's do work for me for several decades. All the technicians were good and satisfactory but DJ was OUTSTANDING. His understanding of his profession was exemplary and his work ethic and honesty were beyond anything I have seen in other profession for the past 30 years. I will ALWAYS request him for any future problems. In my profession as teacher and counselor, I have dealt with over 10000 young people [anyone under 45], and DJ is one in a million. Keep up the good work and thank you.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. So far as we can recreate we have had a Plummer out to our house 8-9 times. We still are not finished, still have non potable water, our home smells like a sewage plant for the last 2 weeks. We originally called for a plumber to fix a slow draining kitchen sink, that took the plumber 3 times to our house to fix. We had a dripping faucet in our bathroom and garage. We also needed a new water heater. The water heater was installed by Shane on 6-5-20, do not let this technician into your home, he left an inch or standing black sludge water in our basement we had to clean. We called to complain, no one returned our call. That night we still had no hot water. Cody, the only plumber we now allow to our home, came and reset our thermometer. In the morning the water We had only lukewarm water at best. Cody came and reset the thermometer again. He came later in the week to fix our 2 remaking dripping faucets. We still have a drip behind our wood burning stove that hasn’t been fixed. Jump ahead to 26 July, I became very ill with nausea and diarrhea. The next night my mom went to run a bath and the water came out black/gray looking, gritty with black particles, and smelling like sewage. The next morning we called Gene’s again. They sent who We believe was Shane out again, right away. He told us that our well had gone bad, that WE needed to call a well company, that it needed to be chlorinated, then call Calligan to recalibrate our water softener, then call Genes back to have our system flushed. We called Depews. Fred Depew told us that it was our hot water heater, that we needed a new anode rod. We called Genes back AGAIN, they sent Cody. Cody said yes, it needed a new anode rod, they would order it, should be in in a day or 2. We have now called everyday since Wednesday, 5 Aug. We still have water that is unusable. Tomorrow it is 2 weeks. Our home smells like a sewer, the water is unusable. We are told the new rod will be in the next day. Then we hear nothing, call them at 3:30 to be told the same thing. Supposedly it will be in tomorrow morning, I hold out little hope. I have asked to speak with a manager. I was told that they would let one know in the morning what is going on. As this is not the first time we’ve asked to speak to a manager, I’m Not holding my breath on that either. The service we have recieved from Gene’s is so bad, I don’t even know what to say about it. If our new water heater was not under guarantee through them we would be going elsewhere. By the way, Shane left us no book or paperwork on our new water heater, had to call Genes to find out about the guarantee, too. Go elsewhere if you want usable potable water.

Scheduling was quick and easy. Derek arrived on time, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Recognized the problem in a couple minutes and even had the part to fix the issue. No milking the clock to run up the cost. Would not hesitate to call again.

Had a new geothermal system installed in June. Got a system error this morning and the house was only 58F. Called Gene's and they had a tech out to my house within the hour and fixed the problem efficiently. Everyone that I have had contact with has been professional, friendly and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend Gene's.

Woke up to a cold house this morning, 8 deg outside. Checked a few things then called Gene’s. Got a quick call back and Matt promptly arrived about an hour later. Matt did a great job identifying the problem with our thermostat and furnace. He explained what he was doing and what things he was looking for as he was going along. We're grateful as it will be in the negative temperatures tonight and we will be warm!! Matt is an extremely nice guy we would recommend to anyone looking for help with furnace issues.

Prompt callback on a Sunday to help asses the situation over the phone and make recommendations. By next day the replacement water heater was installed to help us get our household back in order! About 24 hours from first call to completion! Technician took extra care coming in and out of the house to avoid tracking snow from outside and keep water from the bad tank off our floors. Fast, friendly, helpful service coupled with expertise. Will recommend!

Came home Friday night to the smell of burnt electronics, called Genes, Josh called me back in 10 min, showed up within 25min and replaced my motor, got the heat back on (19 degrees currently) in under 45min. I couldnt be happier with the service Josh did, and with Genes in general. They will be my goto hvac from now on! Thank you Josh, you saved the day and the weekend for me and my family!

When I first saw Joe I was concerned because he was young and I felt I needed someone with lots of experience. It did not take long for him to prove me wrong as he was so thorough and checked everything and answered all our questions that by the end of the visit, we told him we only wanted him to do our service going forward. He was polite and not afraid of work like a lot of young people these days. He totally represents your company in the best way possible and deserves the recognition.

Keith was great! Arrived on time after a phone call to let me know he was on his way. Very much appreciated! He worked quickly to determine the best solution for our old furnace. Repair or replace. He walked me through all the options without any pressure either way. Keith was quite knowledgeable and made me feel like we were making the best decision. He even left me heaters to keep us warm until our install.

Derek did an excellent job with servicing our heat pump/air conditioner. I thought we may have needed a new filter due to some house renovations that kicked up a lot of dust...
