I had emailed their office with a photo of the broken part, and Gary G, picked one up on the way to our house the morning of the appointment. We needed some work done to our water heater in order to get a permit from the city of Novato. I called GB Plumbing on a Friday and then sent someone to our house on Monday to fix everything. I had initially reached out to a different company, who surprisingly had really good reviews on Yelp, but they were slow to respond to emails and phone calls and actually never came out to the house. I could not be happier with GB plumbing. Also their rates were comparable to other quotes I received. I will not waste time in the future by calling anyone else except this company. Gene Burch Plumbing Heating & Air have done superb work for me with both service and repair jobs. I am very pleased that Russell and all Gene Burch workers have always been very professional and thorough in tackling both major repairs such as replacing outdated, leaking water pipes in the front yard to handling minor repairs such as fixing a plugged bathtub or replacing a broken toilet part that was causing a deafening squeak in the house. Most of all, I appreciate how everyone at Gene Burch is always willing to answer my questions about the work being done which has helped me to not only become aware of how things work but has also helped me to become more capable of maintaining things on my own. Gary was great. My issue is with the value of service I received. I paid $268 to be told that I "might" have 2 possible problems but not guaranteed. I would have to pay more to see if that was really the issue and it might not be. Gary was here for less than an hour. When I made the appointment, I was told Russ would be the service man. He called to tell us he was coming. He arrived on time. He did a good job installing new faucets for our washer and also did an extensive inspection of our furnace. He explained what he did and why. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
