Cummings installed a new AC replacing a very old unit. Their price was right, they scheduled the install for two days and the install of both the main AC and air handler took just 3 hours. They cleaned up the area better than before. I hope the unit never fails, but it has a great guarantee and I would not think of calling anyone but Cummings.

Attention Tucson: MR. Rip Off( Mr. Cummings) quoted me 3,800 to fix my air.Air Tropics charged me 360.00 to fix my air w/ Freon.Mr Rip Off,told me I had many things wrong.As a additional feature,I had Mr. Rip Off,call and hassle me.He also will boast how big he is 60 trucks on the streets.If I over charge people and had 10,000 running ads on tv I have 60 trucks too.Mr. Rip Off,please do not call me again.Tucson: Air Tropics is your company...........nice guys and honest.Mr. Rip Off,can you spell honest. Odus was on time for our leaking small bathroom sink, and got right to work. It was a hard job as access to the problem faucet leaking required him to lay on the floor and under the sink--not easy for a big man. He struggled but made the job seem like a challenge. On Jul. 28, 2018, I sadly found there was no cold water coming out from the faucet over the sink in the bathroom. I picked up the Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling from the yellowbook because it is the winner of the Readers' Choice in 2017. So I called its Tucson office to schedule an inspection next day on Aug. 1 though the same day appointment was available. The technician Odus Berglund arrived as scheduled. He is very experinced in plumbing. After he checked the second point along the cold water line, the cold water ran out of the tap. The problem which had bothered us for a long time was resolved. Price for repiping house was fair. All the workers were excellent. Very patient with the dogs, more than what they should be expected to be! The work done (piping, drywall repair and painting) was also very good.
The only thing I feel was not up to par was the clean up. First, the dry wall compound used etched both the driveway (white patches) and the grout on the saltillo tiles in the house. They missed patching a couple of small dings they put in the drywall and a small hole in the exterior stucco...just an oversight when they finished.

Cummings plumbing heating and cooling company doesn’t even deserve a star but you have to mark one to post so I gave them one which they don’t deserve i’ve been screwed ever since day one . When my outside compressor started going out they talked me into buying their cooler unit which was my biggest mistake ! My heater worked just fine but their cooler unit continuously poured water down through the heater unit and blower system and I had to keep calling them to come out to fix it which they never did any thing really , all they ever did was charge me the over $300 show up fee . At first they said the heater unit for the system would only cost me $1000 but I did not need one at that moment until their cooler running water down over everything took out the blower motor the fuse for the blower motor the motherboard and the heater then I had no choice but to buy a heater which was then $2500 Because now I needed it . The same family crew couple that installed the cooler in the first place install the heater and put the screws through the wiring which shorted out the wiring and blew out the new motherboard main fuses and when the guy came to fix that he told me why didn’t they install your new thermostat which you did pay for And they’re not cheap I told him they must’ve kept it or sold it to somebody else for more of a profit . And when they put the cooler back on top of the heater system they beat it in with a mallet and 2 x 4 and then it was crooked and they had to forcefully get it out to pound back in and said it was in there good enough and then left so now I had water still running out of the cooler all over the new system which I had them come out and look and the guy said the whole inside system of the cooler needs to be replaced and he said I was under warranty so he would order one and when it came in they would set up an appointment when they called me . And by chance I noticed in my email that they said I had made an appointment for Monday for them to come and install it which I never did they did and never told me luckily I was home or I would’ve been charged for them showing up with me not being here . When I talk to the lady she said when it says warranty it means coils only and luckily this time it was a different installer and he took out the coil’s and the new ones went right in with no problem so now I have to do is see how it goes to see if water still runs down over the new system that nothing goes out and I seen the guy who had talked us into buying the cooler the first time and he had said they are good colors but practice coolers They are all new systems the first ones they all had to recall because they made them out of the wrong metal which split so they remade them with a different metal which seems to hold but everybody that bought them has called into them continuously to have something fixed because something is always going wrong . That really wasn’t something I wanted to hear but be careful because even the commercial says free estimate they will charge you a show up fee ! So hopefully I don’t need to ever call them again but I don’t know yet and they have nickeled and dimed us to death. It was all a big mistake because I thought they were a trustworthy good company to go with and I never did get my new thermostat though I was promised one because it cost me a few hundred dollars . They worked tirelessly in the 110 heat and replaced the whole system in one day. They were so respectful of us and our property.
