after having an unhelpful experience with another company we joined angie s list to find a company with good recommendations. jamie and brian came out the same day we called and explained to us what we needed and why. we were very happy with the price they quoted and how they handled the rebates from aep and columbia gas. the very next morning robert and his assistant arrived and commenced installing our new furnace and air conditioner. my wife and i are very pleased with the service and the courteous of all you were involved getting heat back into our home. this company is a pleasure to work with. Our heat quit working at 5:00 on the evening that the temperatures were supposed to be below zero. I called Columbus Worthington Air and they were there within 2 hours. Ryan C. was our service technician and was very nice and professional. He explained the issue and gave us our options. He had the furnace fixed and serviced within 30 minutes. He was very professional and did a very nice job performing the work and explaining what needed to be communicated I would recommend him for service anytime! John M. was very thorough, courteous and professional. During his furnace check, he provided an update on our aging furnace and suggested we start planning for its eventual replacement. But for now, everything is working. He replaced a part on our humidifier and explained how to use the system. Kenny Ward did a great job performing the annual checkup on our furnace. He was very thorough and cleaned interior parts of the furnace that technicians typically don't clean. Jamie T. was our service technician, and we recognized that he had been to our home before. We had a service call scheduled for air conditioner check, however, our unit stopped working & we called office & Jamie arrived following morning. He quickly determined what the problem was, left to pickup the part, and returned quickly, and before we knew it the unit was working again. Jamie then continued doing ramainder of service check, and got on his way. We are pleased with his knowledge, and it's was great to see him again. The entire process from the tech Jamie to the sales rep John B to the installers, Dan and Jeremiah was good. The installers were there early in the morning and worked until they finished. The worked in the rain and were professional, courteous, friendly and neat. John B was very thorough and explained everything to us as did Dan and Jeremiah who explained all the details about the thermostat and filter and how to use our new furnace/air to the fullest. Upon return from vacation Friday evening I returned home to find my AC was not working. I called Columbus Worthington Air first thing Saturday morning and they were out by noon. The company called to let me know about 20 minutes before the repairman would arrive and who it would be. Mike J was on time, found the problem and quickly fixed it. Chad arrived on time for the summer air conditioner tune up. He found a leak in the coolant, checked it out, and was able to fix in quickly. Chad Wesney did an excellent job on his tech run to 1689 Lynnhurst Rd. This was the most complete check and maintenance on our AC unit that I can ever remember over all the years I have had a contract with Columbus Worthington Air. And Chad never gave a hint of "promotion" that you seem to run into these days with certain companies. Those companies don't seem to realize that many customers are wise to this sort of thing. Mike did a great job, spent nearly 2.75 hrs doing a thorough and detaild check of system to determine problem with our AC. Finally determined it was in need of R22 recharge, he installed 3 lbs of R22 and that did the trick. He did a good cleanout of the outside unit as well. Great ambassador for Worthington Air! Jamie Thompson gets five stars from us! He introduced himself, put on shoe booties, and was very courteous to us during his inspection of our air conditioning system. He welcomed our questions and provided sufficient detail in his answers. He gave us some excellent tips on how to best operate the system - keep circulation fan on, make sure outside coils are cleaned twice per year, etc. We never felt like he was rushing to get in and out and on to another customer. The specialist were very professional, and knowledgeable. They installed a new AC/Furnace/Humidifier and replaced some duct work. Kurt H, the sales rep, did everything he could to make this an easy process. He came to my house multiple time to explain our options, and then re-explain them to my wife. Craig and Nick, the installers, were both professional and friendly. They put down cloth sheets to cover the floor when walking in the house, and cleaned up the remains of my old units. They were in and out of my house with in an 8 hour period. I am extremely happy with Columbus Worthington Air and my new units. Did I mention I can now control the new units from an app on my phone?
