From start to finish, a very professional and superiorly priced organization. I had an entire HVAC system replacement and they were, by far, the lowest price. They replaced everything in one day with a very competent and knowledgeable crew. Jamal, carried out the brunt of the work spending his time in the hot attic for more than 5 hours removing the old system and installing the new. He got an A+ for the day as did Mark who assisted in taking out and transporting the old and new equipment up and down 3 flights of stairs. Jack, with over 40 years experience, while very knowledgable, was outside smoking for the majority of the day. He was not the nicest supervisor and could use some instruction on leadership and treating the younger crew with more respect and dignity. I would've thrown him out of the third floor window if he talked to me the way he did his workers, but I understand that is just the way he is... When Dave came back to provide the quality assurance inspection he was professional, competent and meticulous in his work and attention to detail. The 2 year parts and service warranty plus the 10 year Lennox warranty sealed the deal. I will be happy to have them come back twice a year to keep this new baby running at her best. When my old heat pump failed I contacted 6 HVAC contractors in the Charleston, SC area. Luckily I had the luxury of not needing emergency replacment and could take time to evaluate each company quote. This is our second experience with Carolina Air Care and they delivered another extraordinary service. This time they replaced a large HVAC system on the roof. This required a large crane to lift the old unit off the roof then lifting the new one over the trees onto our 3rd story roof. The new unit is fantastic - so quiet - and the work was done perfectly with impeccable clean up. We started having problems with our old air conditioner unit and had the Carolina Air repairman to check it out. They could have repaired the unit, but with it being almost 14 years old, we decided to replace the unit. The repairman gave us the options, prices and then we made our decision. The service men that installed the unit did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and we were happy with the unit. I did like that they sent a second worker out the next day, to double check the unit and to make sure that we were happy. Needed a new AC system put in. After receiving several estimates, we decided to go with Carolina Air Care. Jake was extremely helpful in determining which system would work best. He explained how everything would work, from installation to finance. When installation day came, Josh and his crew had our installed and running in less than 6 hours. These guys were spot on, from the initial estimate to installation. Jake was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when he came out to check out our existing system. Their estimate was one of the best we received, and when the day came to install, Josh and his team got the system in and running in less than 6 hours. The next day, a quality control inspection was done to check the quality of the installation and to ensure the system was performing properly. All in all, a great experience. 3 Field Service teams came over to my house to dismantle my old unit and install a new unit. They worked together and got everything installed very quickly on a 95 degree day. The unit performed excellent. An inspection was done the next day. Everyone was so professional and diligent. I have 5 quotes and nobody can beat Carolina Air Care's price. The team did a great job on: 1) pulling out the old system and disposing of it 2) Installing the new system and making sure that it was working well - there were electrical challenges and 3) The thorough follow up inspection the next day to make sure it was installed and operating properly. I know the reviews I read indicated that most A/C systems are pretty comparable in terms of materials and design - the difference is in having the system installed by people who understand what they're doing - Carolina Air Care met that criteria. We were amazed at the sales team, office staff and especially the install crew (3 men). We feel we got the best price, installation and quality available anywhere. They removed 2 old systems (ages 21 & 13yr) from hard to get to areas and then installed the new Lennox systems in those places in 1 day. Amazing. We called Carolina Air Care when our old AC/Heat Pump failed right in the hottest part of Summer. They arranged to come out the very same day, and as I have a health condition which could have put me in the hospital without air conditioning this truly meant so much to us. We had them put in a new system and are so pleased. Every person we have dealt with from the call center to the quality check person, has been great. They have all been on time, every time and call when they say they will call. If even going to be a little late, they call. My old unit was not cooling good so I called Carolina Air Care. After looking at my unit and testing it I was given a few options to Fix or Repair. I opted to Replace and with the help of Carolina Air Care it's cool at home now. I was shocked when I got a call to schedule a follow-up visit to see if the unit was still working. Who does that ? We recently had Carolina Air Care install 2 split (HVAC) units in our home in Isle of Palms, SC. We had used them before for seasonal inspections and yearly maintenance. They were not only competitive, but actually the lowest bid. The service and commitment they bring is the best we have ever seen. The 3 man crew installed the 2 systems in an all day job, speedily and cheerfully. The conditions they encountered were no obstacle for them. They conquered the tight places and had to get to areas like they did that everyday, and I'm thinking they do. They also cleaned up all the rust and equipment from the old systems (21yr & 13yr). Four days after the install, a representative returned for a follow-up inspection and to answer any more questions we had. JUST GOOD OLD FASHIONED SERVICE. Good to see it still exists.
