Sergey did a wonderful assessment for me today. He performed the bi-annual check on our HVAC system and explained everything he did so that it was easily understood. We had our furnace and two air conditioner units replaced by Mike C and Mohammad. Both men arrived on time, courteous, protected my home from any dirt, were very knowledgeable and welcomed any questions that I had. They both went above and beyond to get the job done in a timely manner and make sure to tell me what they were doing and why. Yesterday Ray E from Blue Dot and another assistant who was helping for the first half of the day installed an new HVAC system in our condo. It took 11 hours for the installation to be completed. Ray diligently worked the entire time without a lunch break. He was very courteous and respectful as well as answered all of my questions. *Extremely unorganized and inefficient - Do NOT Recommend!* Service guy was great. Showed up, diagnosed problem, and let me know part has to be ordered from manufacturer. However, he also said part would be looked up to see if under warranty or not, and then someone would call me back Monday to confirm ordering part and set up delivery and install date for Tuesday or Wednesday. When I called Monday and noon, they didn’t even have me in the system. Then I had to call back 3 times just to get the part ordered. Called back this evening at 6. They don’t know whether parts under warranty or not. And no ETA on part or when it can be installed. I’m to the point now that I’m considering calling another business to get the part ordered, get an actual ETA and get it installed.

Tom D and Cody were here for two days. Tom was meticulous in providing answers for ALL my questions! He was very astute, personable, neat, and very easy to comprehend!
My experience with Blue Dot began in February 2018 when my air handler stopped working.... a service technician was at my house, conviently when arriving home from work that day. He had been able to repair it that day and strongly advised I get a new system -- the old one was from 1986, and I knew he was right. That evening I spent with Rob in sales and made the decision on which unit to buy based on a conversation with the technician, reviewing options with Rob, and research I had been doing.
Fast forward through the months of waiting for BGE to approve the placement of the meter -- I switched from electric to natural gas .... I was given an approximate ETA and Tom was on the early side. That says a lot in and of itself! All the necessary lines were run, and Tom said he was not leaving until the air conditioning was working.... upon the arrival of the of the switch for the breaker he got the new A/C running. He didn't take short cuts and was NEVER unprofessional, but diligently worked throughout the long hot, humid, drizzly day. He had worked from around 8 am until 8:45 pm! He had to return the next day to do the install for the furnace and had taken the time that morning to let me know he had a brief meeting and would be here between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. Again, he arrived around 8! Once again, clean, professional and extremely considerate!
I am very pleased with the phenomenal service I had received! A HUGE kudos to Tom! As unpleasant as the day was, he maintained professionalism. He is definitely as asset to the company! A person who knows and likes the job they do is not an easy find!

Unfortunately I needed my entire furnace/heat pump replaced (ouch on $$) but the installers were great to work with. Very respectful with my belongings when they moved them and out them back. They were very detail oriented and through with their work. They explained the thermostat option and made sure everything was to my 100% satisfaction before they left. Even though Brad is an "installhelper" and is young, his level of maturity and respect is great. When he had a question about running an electrical line from the breaker to the unit he called me and told me his plans. We talked and came up with a better solution with which I felt more comfortable about. Most electricians would have done the "easiest" thing for them and not even bothered with the home owner. Brad was able to run the line and I was happy with the extra effort that I requested when the line went up into my attic so it would be in the way.

Don and his crew were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and explained things throughout the day. When they needed to move things around for the install of the furnace they were respectful with my belongings and put everything back when the job was done.
When they ran into a small "communication" problem between the thermostat and the unit they re-traced their steps and took diligent precautions to make sure everything was working and found a small tech problem with the new unit and fixed it quickly. They were not rushed at the end to the day to get out.. they wanted to ensure a 100% working system and I really appreciate their attentiveness to detail. Donald B. 05/24/18 |
