In the summer of 2020 we were in a desperate situation. We were in the middle of remodeling our bathroom when I lost my job because my employer let some of us go due to the COVID pandemic. We decided we had to sell our house, and needed help to finish the bathroom. Dave Grollman installed a new bath/shower so that we could finish the bathroom remodel. His work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The good news is I found another job before we had to sell the house, so now we are enjoying the work that Dave did for us. Contacted Anderson about two items; Service on a Toto Washlet, and Repair of plug on a bath tub. The Customer Service Rep was very helpful and schedule an appointment the next day. The Technician could not have been nicer, BUT that was the end of the good. The tub repair was easy, I need a new plug, but the Anderson price was $489, or I could buy the pug part at Dixieline for $9.99. The Toto issue was worse, they actually do not service theToto Washlet, instead I was given estimates for a whole housewares filter and descaling system for $6,6653. Our furnace was making a weird sound every so often and we were concerned it might be about to malfunction. Booked an appt. w/ Anderson for the next day. Dan B. was the assigned technician. Very friendly, listened to what we had to say and went to work. He did a thorough check and determined that there was nothing obvious wrong. He did have a possible explanation that made a lot of sense and gave us some assurance that the unit was not about to break down. And to top of the great service, Dan decided that since there was nothing wrong, the service call was no charge. Now that's a great way to keep a customer coming back for future HVAC needs! My AC technician Johnny C. was by far the best service professional that I have worked with from the Anderson Plumbing and Heating Company. He is very personable and a true professional when it comes to customer service. He takes his job seriously, genuinely cares about doing an outstanding job, and strives to make sure the customer is satisfied with his work. It seems like the main priority of the previous Anderson technicians who were sent to my home was to sell me additional products. This has not been the case with Johnny. I trust that he has my best interests in mind and I believe that his expertise and suggestions are genuine. Johnny is very good at explaining the work he is performing on my system and how I can best maintain it. My plumbing service technician was Matt Krohn. He installed my new water heater. He arrived at 12:00 P.M. and was here to 5:35 P.M. He did all the work himself. My condo is upstairs. He must have made a dozen or more trips out to his truck. He was so polite and professional at the same time. He also gave me a $500.00 discount. I would want Matt to come out for all my work. Matt K was dispatched to assist with three plumbing needs at my house. I liked him immediately. He is a really nice man and that, added to his expertise from over 13 years of experience made my first Anderson experience very enjoyable. He listened to what I needed to address, he provided a very fair proposal for the work and then he spent the next 2 1/2 hours performing in a highly professional manner to complete the necessary work. And during that time he allowed me to watch and we had a very nice conversation. I can't say enough good things about Matt. Mike was a very helpful technician that took the time to carefully explain in an easy to understand way my different options for repair of my AC system and the risk and reward associated with each approach. He was very professional in my home and didn't leave any kind of mess or anything even though he pulled a bunch of crud out that was blocking my drain. I did have some trouble scheduling a follow up because to get on my roof they need a two man team with a big ladder and they only scehdule that on weekdays first thing in the morning and I just started a new job and couldn't work it in my schedule but overall I am happy with the service and the people here. Fernando is Great
I am so excited to write this review about Fernando Gonzalez Jr who came out to my house today. We had a water leak that a plumber and a leak detection company could not find. Within 5 minutes the leak was detected and the repairs began. Fernando is a true professional and explained everything that caused the leak and how they were going to fix it in clear terms that I could understand. He was very respectful of myself and my home and took great care to clean up after he was finished with the job. I would highly recommend Anderson Plumbing to anyone in need of a plumbing problem and ask for Fernando, he is very experienced and is a great guy! Thanks for everything Fernando! Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air - Master Plumber
Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air is not the cheapest solution - at least not in the short term. But they are in it for the long term and they only offer products and services that will stand the test of time.
We have used handymen for smaller plumbing issues, but I am so grateful we had Anderson for our a review of our whole home. Ron Miller, a Master Plumber for Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air came to my home to do an overall plumbing inspection. It was a free service offered to me as a VIP member. I didn't think I had any plumbing issues, but decided to do it since it was free. I am SO glad I did. Yes, they found things that could be improved, which I expected, but I ended up having a very urgent water pressure issue which Ron fixed right on the spot. Our water regulator (which governs the water pressure in the home) had been leaking recently and we had a handyman do a quick fix of stopping the leaking, but it caused the water pressure to increase and broke two of our Toto toilet parts. Ron not only replaced the water regulator with a higher quality part, but also the two toilet parts that were damaged as result of the high water pressure. So, that is competence, which is true of Anderson employees. But Ron was so beyond competent. It was so obvious that he truly just wants the best for us (and each customer). He was persistent and insistent to making sure we understood the impact of waiting to make some repairs or upgrades, yet it was done in such a respectful and kind manner. I was so appreciative of his genuine concern and respect for us. Further, he clearly was so happy to be doing the work he does and proud of the company he works for, it was a pleasure to have him in our home. Thank you Ron and Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air! Nobody wants to spend money on a plumbing issue. We had an outside leak from our main to our house. After we located the leak, Julian came out and handled the situation. He was knowledgeable, personable, and made me feel like he was happy to help. That true WOW factor Anderson’s talks about!! We’ve had our fair share of contractors come through our house; leaving the work site messier than they found it, negitive about doing the job, and overall making me feel as though they are doing me the favor for hiring them. That was not the case with Julian!! After completing the job, cleaning up everything, he went through our house and made sure ALL of our plumbing was up to par and that we where aware of “action items” for the future. We have a major plumbing project that we have to get financing to accomplish. Our home was built in 1964. Cast iron and ceramic sewer line.
Our experience with their estimator and his expertise and professionalism convinced my wife and I that we have the right company for our major problem.
We are quite comfortable moving forward with Andersen Plumbing.
I will add to this review when our new liner is installed and all the failing sections are excavated and replaced.
A long story even longer:
It turned out that installing a liner would not work on our old cast iron piping. Several holes were dug, a lot of jackhammering in the garage and bottom floor bathroom. A lot of man hours! Two trial runs for the liner, but no luck. A subcontracted company was brought in to do a pipe bursting replacement. That was successful!
Throughout the entire two week experience, Dupree was onsite, keeping us calm. While every team member was friendly, my wife and I cannot say enough about Dupree’s friendly professionalism. My wife considers him family now! Henry was also very positive in how this would turn out. Just a great bunch of people were here....and for a long time! I was certainly afraid they were going to ask us for more money......but they never did!
They honored their original bid and we have nothing but praise for the entire Anderson Team! It was an expensive undertaking from the beginning, but something many with older homes have, or will, experience.
We are greatful to have this behind us, and for the comfort dealing with this reputable home-town company brought us. I recommend them to anyone!
