Today was a tough day for a move (12/15/15) - we woke up to 8 inches of snow on the ground! Â I was fully prepared to have American Moving call and say that they were going to cancel and reschedule. Â But no, that did not happen. Â Instead, Jorge and his team arrived and did a superb job in the most demanding of conditions. Â Not only did the team perform their job cheerfully and efficiently, but when the job was done, they went out of their way to clean up and make sure that I was 100% satisified. Â I would be remiss if I did not mention the other members of the team who helped make this move go smoothly: Gabriel - as the owner of the firm, did everything he could to make sure that everything was 100%; Dennis - when he came for the estimate, he went over every facet of the move and answered all of my questions; Luiz, Rueben, Sergio, Jose and Wyatt - these guys worked diligently, and more important, carefully. Â The bottom line: I would recommend American Moving -no matter if you are moving across the street or across the country. Â Do yourself a favor, give them a call! Jorge, Miguel, Charlie and Sergio were AMAZING! This team had already come to me highly recognized by another real estate professional, but this was for a personal move. Everything went so smoothly I was blown away. The move out of our previous home was done in an hour less than anticipated. The move into the new place was also an hour less. Who does that?! Everything was wrapped, protected and completely insulated against any damage. The one broken item? WE BROKE IT!! I have literally NEVER had a move where at least something didn't break, but these guys were that good. They even moved and installed a piano for us, which is back breaking. This was the third time we've used American Moving & Storage in two years. We've just been wowed every single time. We've also sent 6 coworkers as referrals, and all of them have had amazing experiences.
This time, we had Charlie, Ricardo, and Gil helping us move. They were incredibly professional, thoughtful, and careful with our furniture and floors. I don't know that I've ever come across such polite movers who cared about our stuff so much. I can't gush about them enough!

If you're looking for professional, reliable movers, these guys will blow away your expectations. We've used them twice for moving, and were floored at both experiences. We used Charlie, Joe, and Andrew as our movers. They never complained once, didn't want to slow down for a break, and Joe even offered to jump in for a lazy refrigerator delivery person who didn't want to carry in the fridge. Seriously! There's nothing these guys won't do. They got everything done in UNDER the time estimates (which were reasonable to begin with!). They were clean cut and polite as well, which is so refreshing. Boulder-area/Colorado residents appreciate supporting local businesses. American Moving operates as a small business should: their employees seem to be treated really well, and they have great customer service. They'll do the right thing. Mistakes and oopsies happen: in my opinion, it's how a company decides to remedy (or not remedy) these situations that separate the truly great from the "meh" companies. In our situation, one of our rugs was misplaced in storage. They looked, and the movers were actually frantic about it. They called coworkers in the storage facility, to no avail. The rug was never found, but our request was handled very well. We filled out a form, had a few email exchanges, and they ensured we were completely satisfied with the settlement. No wall dings in either home I don't even think they touched a wall. David, Brad and Miguel were the guys they sent and I give them an A only because there is no rating higher. I have used American Moving twice and will continue to use them for any of my moving needs. Dennis Leash, Gil and Luis are just the best! They are very personable and easy to communicate with. Dennis gave advice on keeping moving costs down to a minimum and both quotes for both moves were exactly what we paid. Gil and Luis showed up on time and are very courteous, friendly and professional. Our items were wrapped carefully and moved without incident. Luiz and David were fantastic. Professional and efficient. All our furniture was wrapped before being loaded on the truck. I used American Moving and Storage twice in one week. We had our flooring replaced and they came in and moved all the furniture and boxes to the garage and when the flooring was complete they returned and put it all back and set the furniture back up. Each individual work without interruption and with the greatest of care. Any issue was immediately brought to my attention and resoloived immediately. Each item and box was placed as requested (sometimes more than once). Creative solutions to apparent problems were a great assistance .... couch to large to be moved to a basement was solved by carefully removing the legs and using 4 people to move into a tight space. My fiancee and I, between the two of us, have used american Moving & Storage 4 or 5 times over the last few years. Without fail, they have been completely fantastic each time! Their customer service is amazing, from the first phone call, to the on-site survey, to the actual move. This last time, we had to move from 2 separate apartments as well as two separate storage units and they were extremely fast, personable, professional and careful with both our house as well as our possessions. I have been fortunate enough to have Charlie on most of my moves (I ask for him each time!), but I have yet to have a bad experience with any of their personnel. Ricardo, Wyatt, Jorge, Sean, Brad and Sergio also helped us this last time, and a few of them have also helped us in the past and, again, they were all fantastic! I spent a great many years in the military, as well as have moved repeatedly due to jobs, etc., so I have more than my fair share of experiences with movers, and I simply cannot say enough good things about this organization! I was referred to American Moving by a friend. We did a local move (2 miles away), and needed our biggest pieces moved. Gabriel was really friendly on the phone, called and emailed with quotes quickly and made the whole process go smoothly. Sean and Ricardo were the team on the scene and they were amazing! They arrived early, worked incredibly hard every single minute, and were friendly and courteous. They were extremely careful with our furniture and walls, and they moved our huge furniture with ease. Gabriel's quote for the move was very close to the charges (It took 20 mins longer than estimated... NOT BAD!) I am so impressed.
