I highly recommend American Moving & Storage. This is the second time we have used them for a moving service and they are awesome! The communication is great and a team member called with a reminder one week before, one day before and even called during the move to make sure all was going good. Our team of movers (Adri, Adrian and Luis) were amazing. They were true professionals and did an awesome job with the placement of furniture and boxes. Luis and Eduardo did a fantastic job moving me from Thornton down to downtown Denver. The apartment I was moving out of was up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator and they still managed to pack and transfer all of my things extremely fast. All of my belongings were in good shape when they arrived and they helped put all of my furniture back together in no time. They were both professional and courteous. I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years and this is by far the best experience I have had. My only issue was that they quoted me at 7 hours and my move ended up taking 10 (which I understand happens), but there was an accident on the interstate that turned a 20 minute drive in between locations into an hour drive. Killian was excellent. Hard worker, careful with my personal belongings, social, offered suggestions that were useful, personable, etc. Dillion, was not as careful and distracted because of personal problems. His replacement was not as careful with my things. He was a very nice person but I don’t think he gets it about people wanting the person handling their furniture and China carefully. Rios, Florencio and Mac were superb. They worked a 12 hour day to prepare us for our international move. We just had the team from American Moving in Broomfield move us and I couldn't be more impressed. The team of Rios, Jesus and Florencio worked harder than I have ever seen grown men work (and I grew up baling hay all day and worked as a wildland firefighter). The team was polite and happy and if we asked them to do something extra, they happily accommodated us. They took very good care of our belongs, when they delivered everything they even put the items in the basement and garage back on the shelves where they were before.

Everything about my experience with American Moving & Storage was a 10. Todd, who initially helped get my move set up definitely gets a 10 for excellent customer service. He responded to my on line inquiry promptly and professionally and followed up with me several times to see if I needed further help or had questions. The team of Mike and Dustin were on time, courteous, helpful and efficient and did an overall outstanding job. I got 3 quotes and while American Moving & Storage was not the least expensive their rates were reasonable and competitive. I chose them because of the prompt response I received from Todd. We moved from Aurora, CO to Castle Rock, CO and it was the smoothest process we could have hoped for! The guys showed up on time, did a walk through with us to see everything that needed moved and then promptly got to work. One of the guys even told me about a small crack in the glass window of one of our China butches and then took it out very carefully so as not to break it during the move instead of just not saying anything and moving it anyway! Overall the move experience with the Bloomfield CO. American Movers team was successful and satisfactory. The moving team was courteous even though the leader dwelt excessively on the fact that they were short of boxes. It is difficult to determine the contents of a move based on a phone conversation and a list of goods emailed from the customer. I feel a company rep should have visited the address and accessed the contents by sight. This miscommunication is what caused the shortage of boxes. The moving team was hesitant to move glass and other small goods because a. there was no packing materials to wrap and pack glass and b. the time it would take to pack small goods like food would be critical with a shortage of boxes.
This resulted in my making 4 separate trips with 3 large plastic tote boxes full each trip of the above goods to the destination address which was fortunately only 1/2 mile from the moving address. The invoice was adjusted downward from the estimate to reflect less time involved than estimated for the move. I appreciated this gesture from the move team leader.
