Don came to my house to service our rainsoft today. I was a little irritated because the time frame kept getting pushed back. I work nights so I had to stay up almost all day. Don was very polite and professional though. He even rearranged the kitchen sink filter around so that we would have more room without me asking. He definitely saved the review today. Lance W. came to do water softener maintenance and to troubleshoot a problem we were having. He was the most knowledgeable, informative and friendly person sent so far. He explained why the problem could be happening, checked it out, then fixed it. He explained it while fixing it so I learned a couple of things in the process. Now everything is working great. My wife and I entered the drawing at the T-bones game for the John Deere riding mower and WE WON. Our old John Deere is around 20 years old and I was actually looking at new Deere mowers the day that Tarri from AHS called to notify us that we had won. What a blessing. And in just goes to show that folks do win these drawings. The mower was delivered the next day to our farm and the grandkids are fighting over who gets to cut the grass. I've had the pleasure of working with Andy twice now and I don't have a single negative thing to say about him or the staff. Andy speaks to me in a way that is understandable and not as if I'm in his line of work (i.e.: no jargon, just simply worded). Andy is patient in answering questions, which meant a lot because I am a new homeowner. I'm a single woman living alone so I asked Andy if he would mind speaking to my Dad (who lives in another state) about the information he shared with me about an allergy filter. Other places I've asked to do this were pretty rude and acted like it was annoying. Andy was more than happy to speak to him and even told my Dad his daughter does the same with him and doesn't at all mind when he's asked to do it. That was enough to convince my Dad this guy is awesome and told me to never use anyone else! The front desk staff is reliable and helpful. I called with a question for Andy before he got here about a specific filter and the front desk gal said she would make a note of it and be sure Andy came prepared with an answer. I actually didn't expect him to come with any information because usually that stuff gets slipped through the cracks or forgotten about. However, it was the first thing he brought up and even said the gal told him I asked about allergy filters and he came prepared with lots of information for me. I was so impressed!! Finally, my appt window was scheduled between 10-12. However, when Andy was on his way, the office called me and said he'd be there in about 20 minutes. How helpful is that?!! Thank you American Home Services! You've earned a lifelong customer and I've even given out some referrals to people in my neighborhood asking for recommendations on the neighborhood website. First, I'd like to say that I have been very difficult to work with since the start of this transaction. Robert came out and did an awesome job with his presentation. The water cleaning system seems to be a great product. I really liked what I was showed. Don came out and installed the equipment and it took him a few hours but he did an awesome job. He took his time to make sure things were in correctly. I have spoke with Crystal a few times with a few things that I totally misunderstood. She was very caring and understood my concerns. I have also spoken with Andy and Peter who both have been very patient with me and my issues. This team of folks has been nothing more than nice to me and understanding. This review is geared more towards the customer service I've received the past few days. I would absolutely recommend this company. I can not yet comment on the actual SoftWater system, but from the demo seems to be a great system. We used American Home Services a couple of days ago to help us understand the reverse osmosis. air purification and water softener systems that were in the house we just bought. Andy Storm. was professional, courteous, and very thorough. He took time to explain the systems and what was needed to make them functional again including options to save us money. No high pressure sales of any kind. We were so pleased with the services we received from Andy that we intend to contact American Home Services to sign up for their air conditioner/furnace annual maintenance program after our home warranty expires.
