All City Electrical came to my house after a flood. They were very accommodating and fit me into their schedule even though they had several calls to handle. Ralph and Edgar came on time and were very professional. My basement was full of mid due to flooding and they handled it in stride. They were courteous and answered all of my questions. Amazing service from Rob at All City Electrical. During a renovation, we have had to use this company twice in 3 weeks for separate issues. Rob was our electrician both times. He was on time, efficient and very professional. He always did a before an after walk through and explained things in detail. I needed wiring for two outlets for window air conditioners.
After speaking with Michael Volpe and getting estimate, I was able to get appt within two weeks or so. Jake and Edgar did a great job upgrading our ~100-year-old home from 100 amp to 200 amp service, adding a car charger port, external outlet, adding GFIs, and fixing lots of odds and ends around the home. They took the time to explain potential issues I might encounter with the current setup, and made some pragmatic recommendations for future work. Jake even gave me a call during his weekend off to address an issue I noticed with a GFI. The pricing was very competitive, too, especially with promotions/discounts (but fair warning: plan to pick one deal, as All City does not bundle credits, discounts, and other offers together). We needed to get some electricity into our backyard, and also wanted to upgrade our lights so the pathway back to the back of the house was lit. We had Joe and Mike come out to look at our place and let us know what they thought was the best options for us. They were both on time, very professional and polite, and even went so far as to put on booties to come into the house, and wear masks around us. Mike helped us solve our problem on how we would wire the lights to outside, and I am so happy with his solution! We now have motion sensor pathway to the back, and have a nice soft light in the back of the house as well!
For the actual service done, it was Matt and Nick B who came two days in a row to work on our place. They were extremely polite and even helped us solve the problem of how we would turn on and off the lights from a common area (they used a wireless remote! How cool is that!) They also made sure their work looked great (aesthetically) and made sure to clean up after everything they did.
Extra props to them since they had to go into our AC-less attic on a hot June day. Everything looks great, and it was wonderful to work with the All City Electrical crew - from the quoting done to the actual workers who installed things.... I also appreciated that any questions I had on technical terms was answered so I could understand.
Other companies make you pay for a quote, or they take forever to get back to you, so I appreciated everything they did to help us get our backyard to a place where we can enjoy it for the upcoming holiday weekend!
