SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY!! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Please save your money and go with a different company. do not believe them and do not waste your money. They do not know what they are doing. They are not professional HVAC technicians. if they cannot find or fix the issue, all that they will say is replace the HVAC system and guess what?? even after replacing the brand new HVAC system!! it will not work. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!

I got a new unite installed and after 3 months I started having issues. So I called ARS and said that my ac was off on the temperature in my house. When the guy got here he was surprised that the ac was working. I told him that I never said it didn't work. I said that the temperature was off in my house that when its at 78 my thermometer in the house says its 82 in the house and everyone is sweating. He said that the nest thermostat put itself on home away so it will keep it at 82 to 85 which I get but I am constantly looking at my thermostat and it never goes above what I set it at 78 but yet my other thermometer says its 82 in the house. He then told me that there might be a clog in the pipe that he would have to vacuum out and put cleaner down. Just those two things which I could have done myself if I knew. He charged me 251.00 dollars for. I am still under full warranty. 251.00 later the problem is still not fixed. Then he tries to sell me a uv lamp which I previously already had. So my husband got home and called the company to have them come out around 6-630pm when he was home. So not going anywhere and not cooking dinner the guy that was supposed to come called me and said that we are going to have to reschedule because they only do emergency's that late at night. I told him it was because my husband was home at that time and that I got taken advantage of the day before when my husband was not home. He said sorry that I felt that way and that I would have to reschedule a time a when me and my husband where home which is literally what I already did. Then I called the company to get refunded because I am under warranty for a full year. I have called the company 5 times asking about my refund and I get the same answer that they will send it over and I should hear something back from their billing department. Still the ac does not work correctly and still I have not received my money back after a month. This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of company. I will never ever deal with this company again. I would defiantly never recommend anyone to this company to save them stress and a hard time!!!!

Yonas inspected my HVAC system, recommended multiple options for maintenance and reviewed plusses and minuses of each. Carried out repairs quickly and professionally. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or call again for future maintenance or repairs.

THEY did a excellent job in installing my heat pump and furnace, here why 1. They were on time 2. They prepared the areas for installment 3. Taken they time In breaking down the old system and put the new system together for installment (very important) 4. Testing the system to it work 5. Talk to the supervisor when the work was completed 6. Cleanup the areas 7. Explan to me about the new Hvac work. Bob and his team did a excellent job. Thank you

Gary G. from ARS did an excellent job today with installing my new furnace A/C combo unit. He and his partner Tirso were very professional, answered all my questions, and explained the system functionality simplistically. They showed up on time and exhibited excellent workmanship. They even cleaned up their mess completely after the installation was finished. Thanks again ARS. As my friends inquire about who to call to purchase and install furnace or A/C equipment, I am definitely going to recommend to call ARS in Laurel, MD. Thanks guys!

ARS/Laurel, MD installed a new HVAC in my home in May 2018. Ever since, the AC had freon leaks in past 3 summers. ARS was responsive to my complaints. Various ARS techs attempted to resolve. This May (2020), ARS tech Maurice Liggins deduced the leaks are likely in the old lineset tubes. Maurice showed where the lineset tubing is composed of 3 different sizes! Most of the old lineset is hidden behind the ceiling drywall. He assumes this currently inaccessible location is likely the source of the slow freon leaks.That made sense to me...I’m hoping he is right. Also, no previous ARS techs mentioned that hidden location as a possible leak source. Therefore, I commend Maurice Liggins for his thorough investigation!!!. I also appreciate the help from the ARS staff who answers calls: Robin, Jalesa and Stephanie are a few who recently showed me concern and commitment to resolving this AC problem. Again, kudos to Maurice Liggins!!!

When there are problems with the HVAC system they installed, they are responsive to my calls for service. Technician Maurice Liggins was very thorough with his search for constant freon leaks. He discovered possible leak locations that previous techs overlooked.

Following a very positive experience with Michael Geary our ARS/Rescue Rooter sales professional, Gary Greene and Tirso Dorado recently installed a HVAC system in our townhome in Columbia, MD. The work performed by these gentlemen were in one word “Stellar.” Gary, the lead installer displayed a wealth of knowledge about the system my wife and I selected for our home. He did an amazing job explaining how it works, answering all of our questions. Tirso worked diligently hauling our old system away without leaving a trace of debris. The noise level was at a minimal. We love our new system and would not hesitate recommending ARS/Rescue Rooter’s team of professional to our family, friends and colleagues.

Todd was outstanding, he was professional, respected my home by taking all precautions to ensure cleanliness, and knowledgeable. After Todd completed his evaluation of my old HVAC system, he went over the findings, showed me pictures and pointed out the areas on the furnace based on his findings. Mr. Tim Whitley have excellent customer service skills. He was very detailed about the installation of his work. He also explained to me about installing a "UV Air Purifier" since the current Humidifier did not successfully work for me when my house was built. This was great information since, I have Asthma. Something, I will differently look into later on. Very professional with answering any other questions as needed, He also explained in detail on how to use the " NEST Thermostat" which is New to me. They also cleaned up and taped & wrapped the installation properly. Outstanding Job!!!! I recently purchased a water heater from ARS/Rescue Rooter in Laurel. I had no idea who my installer would be. When the Water Heater Installer/Plumber came in, he introduced himself as Dennie. Dennie was absolutely THE BEST! He and his assistant (Don) were excellent. They were knowledgeable, professional, used shoe covers, they explained how the water heater worked, and at the end of it all, did NOT leave a mess. Dennis Shifflett went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was happy with the final outcome. I would highly recommend this team and this company. Absolutely the worst company to deal with as far as heat and ac. Customer service is absolutely terrible and technicians are irresponsible and liars. 4 days no heat for senior citizens. And I will add whole unit is a year old and under warranty with ARS. People in the offices do not care. Tammy and Robin especially. Stay away and call anyone else. Personally, I am now dealing with the corporate office and personal lawyer.

We had a very successful experience with ARS. John D. was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service in the area of sales. John R. and the tech who assisted him worked tirelessly throughout the day to remove the old and to install the new HVAC system. They took the time to demonstrate the process for operating the new thermostat and for changing the filter. Dennis S. and Don H. provided professional expertise in plumbing as they removed the old and installed the new hot water heater. We are very pleased with the service we received.
