Tech was fine.Charges ridiculous.
Master electricians get $135.00 an hour one hour minimum in Cedar Creek area. Informed tech problem with neutral wire showed him circuit where problem was. Before he began he told me they charge by tiers of the job. Tier one service which is basic downstairs work $271.00. Harder work up stairs attic Tier two service $493.00.
Tech was there 20 minutes and found loose screw in neutral wire circuit of one of the outlets. Tightend screw fixed problem.
Asked tech if they had some kind of discount on such a short service.
Nope company policy. $271.00 charge. Dont mind paying fair price for service but you wont get it here at this company. I wouldn use any company that cant charge by the hour. A#1 in my books is A#1 rip off. Ronaldis C. 03/11/23 |

I want to take this opportunity to thank Albert C. who came out and serviced my heating and AC units today. He done a thorough job and was very informative on how my unit was performing and provided me with some very helpful information and educating me on insulation and how I could benefit from replacing my insulation to help me save money on my energy costs all the while never making me feel like he was trying to hussle me or sell me on something I did not need. The Technician Artinez was the truth. This the first technician that actually did a complete routine maintenance check of my unit. He gave me tips on how can I save money on my energy bill. This guy need a promotion in management because his personality and mannerism was also welcoming. You need more men like him A-1. I will always reccommend him to come to my home for a routine check. I had a gas furnace go bad just after a major ice storm. A#1 Air was fast to respond to a service request for repairs. Turns out the hvac system I inherited from a previous owner was about at the end of its life after 7 years of poor maintenance. The company outfitted me with a new system on the same day and it works about 100x better than the old one. On Jan 13, 2023, Milton ( Terrance ) Davis came out from A#1 Air to do bi-annual maintenance on our Rheem heat pump system. After he finished the job Terrance came into our house to get a signature on his paperwork. During our chitchat, Terrance remarked that it appeared that we could use more insulation in our attic area ( he could tell because we have some missing sheetrock in our garage ceiling. I mentioned that we have been in this house since 1981. We’ve talked about re-insulating the attic for years but never did it. But when Terrance mentioned that A#1Air can provide this service I decided to take this opportunity to have it done and potentially save money on future electric bills. We set the appointment right there and then for the insulation service. We were offered to finance but decided to pay in full. The insulation guys came out the following Wednesday morning. They removed all the old insulation and sealed everything that needed sealing. When they started our insulation depth was about 4”.When they were done the depth was raised to almost 15” which compares to an R rating of between R-43 and R-44.which is important to insulate the house.
I want to thank Terrance for going above and beyond just the general maintenance of our heat pump system and for suggesting the insulation package to us. I highly recommend Terrance and the Insulation Guys from A#1 Air for a job well done! Milton D. 01/19/23 |

A#1 has a lack of customer service.
They installed a Nest with my unit and it keeps going out over and over again. They replace it and it goes out again. I am without heat now because it went out yet again! and they want to charge me $129 service fee to come look at it! They are constantly finding ways to charge me or upsale me on products I don't need or want! My Nest is still under warranty! So I don't understand why I need to pay for their faulty equipment! So now my dogs and I have to be in the cold because their equipment keeps going out. Now they want me to join some club. I rather have the regular thermostat....at least it never stopped me from cutting on my heat! Customer R. 11/22/22 |
