Can't say enough about American Star. Our older home has a boiler with hot water baseboard heating. When our circulating pump acted up we were at a loss. Finding a family-owned HVAC company in business for 33 years with the expertise required for our heating system...priceless. Our technician, ****, was courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything.The problem was diagnosed quickly, and options were provided. Instead of repairing an older pump, a newer, more efficient, and maintenance-free pump was suggested. It wasn't long before it came in, and the job went easier than anticipated which isn't always the case. **** knew his "stuff". We're truly thankful for American Star, and the entire team. Our go-to heating system company from here on out!

He came on time, was very knowledgeable, and very neat. I was pleased with the way **** explained everything and the service provided. Chris s and chris c did a great job on my air duct cleaning! They were professional, friendly and efficient! I was happy they wore masks and booties. American Star is a friendly and trustworthy company. Their prices are fair and they explain what their work will do. They also offer club pricing so you get an annual service call on all of your covered products. Adam usually comes to do our service work. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. I would refer anyone who needs service with their furnace, a/c unit. hot water heater or home generator to call American Star.

The crew that came to install the furnace and air conditioner were professional and helpful in explaining what and how they were to do the installing. They used tarps, wore masks and covered their shoes which I appreciated at this time of pandemic with COVID-19. My furnace is working fine.

My wife and I have used American Star most of this decade. First at our townhouse in Bloomingdale. They kept our aging heating and ac system going..........and then when it was time to replace the Furnace and AC we met with the owner who was very responsive to our needs and budget. Whenever I deal with the office, they are courteous and return calls promptly. We recently bought a new home in Winfield, and American Star set up an appointment with Adam Carlson. This is my first time in a home with radiant heat- a boiler. Adam came and tuned up our ac which is pretty new, but then he went over the whole boiler system with me- explaining what I need to know to live with this system. We love American Star's maintenance program. Twice a year they come and clean and inspect the system. I have probably had 15 service calls and a full install with American Star and NOT ONCE have I had a problem or a complaint. I can't say enough good things about American Star. Adam Carlson was rock solid and I am confident in his abilities to keep our HVAC system running smoothly. David and Edith in Winfield.
