Tipping Hat was able to schedule an appointment for the day after I called, and later the office called and asked if I would like to have someone come out even earlier.
This company seems to value their employees and the resulting customer service is amazing.
Brandon came to check my hot water heater because it would not stay lit. He was very thorough and explained what the problem was and he quickly ordered the part.
As Brandon left my house to get the part, he noticed that a vent cap was missing from my roof, and he came back to tell me what he noticed and why he thought the missing cap was likely the underlying reason my water heater would not stay lit.
Brandon then suggested that I go with the least expensive repair and I believe this speaks volumes about how Tipping Hat does business, as well as the excellent customer service Brandon provided.

Landon, Tommy, Zach, Gabe, and Elijah were all awesome. Very polite and efficient , went right to work and replaced my furnace and air conditioner in record time. He arrived on time clearly explained both gas and electric options, and once I made my decision, he moved expeditiously...careful about my new carpets, and was just a delight to be with, in general. Kodiak and his crew went out of their way to install a furnace for us on Saturday. Kodiak was very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. We're very happy with our furnace. We've been doing business with Tippinghat for over a year, and they've always been on time, proved that they were experts, and explained everything we wanted to know. Had a new boiler installed last week by a **********. We had a few glitches but they responded immediately and took care of everything. We love the boiler. Rick the supervisor who helped solve my lengthy and exhausting hot water heater issues is very professional, friendly and intelligent. The second appliance installed was the furnace and true to form another challenging event, but everyone at Tipping Hat was there to help. Chris D, Alden, JJ G, and Kyle replaced our AC and furnace and I couldn't be more happy with the service and product. Our house feels noticeably cooler now and thermostat installed is so fancy. Technicians were professional and there was damage or mess left. I especially like how Landon stopped after the project was done to verify the work was completed and there wasn't any issues. Brandon came to my home, walked thru the house, gave me a quote, and talked through all the possibilities including externalities. They were able to work around the fact my AC is on the roof with no access. Day of service, they were on time and took about 6 hours total to install the new unit. They were legit (pulled a permit). They left the house clean when they finished up. Everyone was friendly and everyone was able to answer questions or get an answer quickly. All around great service throughout. I was extremely pleased by the excellent service of Tipping Hat replacing my air conditioning system. The job was complex but they worked through the problems and I was very happy with the outcome. Michael Lia did such a wonderful job diagnosing and walking us through the issues with our AC/Furnace and Water Heater, what we could repair, what needed to be replaced, etc.
Once we got to the replacement conversation he spent a lot of time walking us through the calculations to *properly* size an AC unit for our house taking into account the existing ductwork, square footage, sun exposure, etc. In his calculations he found that our return didn't have enough airflow to supply the existing unit, let alone one properly sized for our sq footage. This is likely why our old unit failed! Michael then took the time to brainstorm solutions to the return airflow issue and came up with a fantastic solution that gives us a larger unit (properly sized for our sq footage) *and* has enough return flow so we're not replacing it in 6 months.
The installers (shoutout to Dario Martinez, John Slobodzian and all the others I didn't get their names!) were friendly and courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were a joy to have in our home. Michael stopped by to check on the install and make sure that things were going according to plan. I really appreciate the time and care he put into the work that we needed done. There's incredible value in having things done right the *first* time.

I have had several issues with my 1979 boiler for 3 years. Tipping Hat has been with me every step of the way. The professionals are efficient and truly a great value, their on-time, friendly, clean, courteous service a breath of fresh air! I will not use any other plumbing/heating service.
With parts unavailable any longer for my ancient boiler, Tipping Hat had options for purchasing from them. Labor, parts, brand new boiler all well within acceptable price range. From my experience with Tipping Hat installing this new AC, I could not recommend them enough. Brian as the supervisor communicated effectively with me on where things were at and his estimate was quite good. Dario and John also made quick work of the install despite having to install a sump pump and do some custom work to make sure I wasn't losing any air through the filter slot. He worked tirelessly the whole day to make sure the issue was fixed so that my gf and I could have access to ************* and kitchen sink same day. Towards the end of the day I discovered ******* had to pull a double and head to another job, yet he was still smiling, happy to be helping us resolve a major leak in the home. Initially a two man job, ******* was able to do it without assistance - a testament to his knowledge and technical proficiency in my opinion. I cannot give enough compliments to *************************** and Kodiak who assisted. My water heater went out suddenly on a Saturday morning. I scheduled an appoint with another water heater company. Waited 4.5 hrs until 3:00pm only to be told by 2 employees they couldn't touch it. My family of 7 were visiting from Ca. My daughter called Tipping Hat, they shuffled their schedule to accommodate our emergency. ****** and Kodiak traveled from Aurora to Lakewood and installed new water heater. I got multiple bids from HVAC shops but Tipping Hat stood out. Michael did a great job setting expectations during the walk through. We did end up needing a/c, plumbing and electrical work but it's great to have a "one stop shop" with that many experts at your disposal.
