Michael arrived to do the yearly maintenance on our heater, but instead found himself helping me set up my new computer ! He was especially outstanding in the area of hooking up the monitor. The other part of hooking up my new computer went fairly smooth until I reached the monitor. He looked at it, sized up the situation, used his tools, and within minutes had it up and running !! He was so helpful, that when doing the set up feature on the computer, it asked me to name it...so I named my computer Michael in his honor !! Oh by the way, he was outstanding as well servicing our heater !! I would recommend him for a huge raise and thank you for sending out a great technician !! Mike M. 10/28/14 |

Wonderful Service. The technician (Robert) was very knowledgeable and very informative. He let us know what we should keep an eye on for next time and kept us informed of the current status of the system. Definitely not a hard sale type company like so many of the other companies do. Pacific Aire handles my rental home as well as my primary residence. Always professional so I do not have to worry about my heating or cooling systems functioning as they should. Mikey was my service pro today and I have to rate him as excellent. It is a pleasure doing business with a company provides such great service and sends out professionals to accomplish the job.

Frederick and Chris provided the initial service on the heater. They were prompt, mannerly, thorough, friendly, and professional. I felt taken care of and not taken advantage of. Awesome company, even better Techs! Annual furnace check and filter replace today...same debate...i say shoe covers , door mat, and other protection cloths are not needed, a floor mopping is. But Johnny still insisted...asked him if he would keep an eye out for any missed damage due to water damage for our water heater. He said it was part of the service, and he would even open up the intake vent under it just to make sure all was okay. Johnny explained all issues, what I was signing and even showed me the new and last years filter knowing that It really needed to be changed. THEN, went up into the attic just to check the duct-work, electricity, whatever else they service. I was not expecting that because the heater is in the hallway. Johnny also checked the vents testing for carbon monoxide issues. Never saw a cell phone...a really great appointment making me really excited that we are prepared for winter! Frederick was such a pleasure to have at our home today. He came out to service our home for its tune up for the first time. He was extremely thorough and very professional and clean. He was friendly and walked me through each of the steps he takes to make sure our unit works efficiently. He treated our home as if it was his home. I will always request Frederick from now on. I have to say that I would like to give 5 stars but there were some hiccups. Our service tech Ryan was fantastic! He was the senior tech they sent out after our first service guy came to do the tune up and the system showed some issues. Ryan was very knowledgeable and courteous.
The original tech who did the service was also courteous but was not able to do the fixing part of the drain clog and so we had to go 5 days without air in the 100* temps, which was inconvenient, because when the office called the day after the original service, I was unable to schedule for that day. They were supposed to call me two days later (on a friday) and did not. I finally had to call them back on Monday to schedule for the next day. They scheduled me for a two hour window, but on his schedule he had me for the following window. A little mismanagement in scheduling.
But they fixed the issue, we are prepared for what is coming (with a very old system coming to an end in the future) and we will call it good. Honestly though, had it not been for Ryan coming to save the day and correct what was said on the initial service, and it was based on the tuneup results and the lack of schedule management, I may not be giving a 4 stars.

Tough weekend for all: hot, humid, muggy, a real grumpy maker. Not for Georg F. of Pacific Aire. He greeted us like old friends who he'd last seen during a system modifation/upgrade 2 years earlier. It was good having our spirits buoyed by such a familiar friendly face. He set right to work finding and replacing the burned-out solenoid. Before we knew it, he was done. NO CHARGE!!! Covered under warranty. Covered under Pacific Aire's Club Member program. We'll miss George because he's such a friendly, competent guy,but; his work is so good that you get used to the reliability of the equipment. George F. 09/08/14 |
