Had a leak under the house. Called Allens Plumbing in Aiea. Talked to Kane on the phone. A girl called me back a few minutes later (sorry, forgot her name). They were busy and estimated a person could get here in about two hours. They got here in 15 minutes! Daniel and Ethan fixed the leak in under 30 minutes. I can't say enough good things about Allens Plumbing and Jacob Apo! He quickly diagnosed the problem with our Watts Premier Reverse Osmosis water filtration system and had it back working in no time. I can never say enough good things about Allen’s Plumbing, or recommend them to enough people.
My latest service was performed by Jacob A. What a great experience. Jacob is so professional. He came out to perform our annual check up. He found that our pressure regulator was in need of replacing. He told us our options so we could discuss and he left. No pressure what so ever. He came to the door a couple minutes later to inform us that our yearly contract was almost expired, and told us what it would cost to repair with all pricing. We called the next day to schedule, and Jacob was out that afternoon. Fixed perfect, no worries. Jacob is a Star at Allen’s Plumbing.

My kitchen sink was clogged and we discovered that the original pipe had corroded. JP completed the job quickly and professionally. It is a small area to work in, but he managed the task, was friendly throughout, and tidied up after. Side note: Allen's Plumbing is open on weekends! When I was searching for a plumber on Sunday, Google listed them as "closed." But they are available so you should definitely give them a call. Great price & great service. JP Y. 05/10/21 |

Quick response and JP was very knowledgeable. He found the problem, which was due to bad workmanship on the building contractor's part. JP showed me the problem and I could see right away what he was saying. We have had this problem off and on for as long as we have lived here, but I feel that the issue has at last finally been resolved. We had JP come out this morning to fix a clog that we had in our upstairs bathroom sink as well as replace the flex plumbing that was in there with legitimate plumbing. JP was very personable and got the job done quick. This is the third time we have used Allen's Plumbing and have always felt taken care of/not taken advantage of. JP came out and did a great job with our bathroom sink. He was friendly and professional and all COVID protocols were followed. I’ve used Allen’s Plumbing in the past and consider them my go to plumber. JP gets 5 stars.
Allen’s gets 4 and only because of what it took to schedule the appointment:
Step 1: I called at 4pm and got routed to a central call that considered my call as “after hours”. She passed my information on to dispatcher.
Step 2: I got a call back where they took all the same information and said someone else would call back to schedule.
Step 3: I talked to a third person who again took all the same information and was finally able to schedule my first appointment.
From an efficiency perspective three phone calls providing the same infrastructure to finally schedule an appointment is too many. JP Y. 02/08/21 |

This weekend, the plumbing in my home started making a lot of noise and the noise started to get louder and louder. I searched the internet for some plumbing help and fortunately found Allen’s Plumbing. I made arrangements for someone to contact me on Monday. They called me before 8:00 AM and sent Service Technician Daniel K and his Helper to my home by 10:00. We discussed my problem, they assessed the situation, did a test and determined that my water pressure was too high (~110 psi). They were able to install a new pressure regulating valve. I originally had an appointment with a well known name in the business, but that was a bust of a no show.
Instead of rescheduling with them, I found Allens Plumbing, with favorable reviews, online.
The technician that came to help was top shelf; courteous, knowledgable, tidy and efficient, and a considerate soul.
I cannot imagine the problem solved in any way better than it was today.

We searched for over 3 hours to find a plumber for a toilet leak in two bathrooms for our rented condo. The first company we were told to use was Aloha. But they would not be here till 7pm and would charge us “a small fee of $79” per their office rep. Then we were fortunate to find Allens. It was at 12:30 and within an hour we had dispatch call to confirm arrival at 2pm (and there were a bit early). Immediately they went to work outside in the overflow and quickly snaked the outer sewer pipe immediately fixing our problem that really belongs to the condo association. We had Jacob and Kapona (?) who we felt we amazing! At every step they gave us an update and price quote for expected and potential issues of arise. Allens Plumbing was very responsive and excellent in communicating. Their technician arrived on the minute at the scheduled time (we were in touch with other providers on Maui who not reliable at all). We were helped by Justin Barnett who was professional, knowledgeable and has excellent communiation skills. He even talked to our landlords on the phone to explain the work that needed to be done. Because we were out of water for a couple of days, Allens Plumbing recoordinated their staff to prioritize us. The project lasted for about 4 hours and involved digging up our driveway. Allens replaced my water heater last year and the technicians were great!
So when I had a problem with the heater that was under warranty I was happy I had used Allens.
The technician Adrian Bustamante came as scheduled on a Saturday, examined the heater and called the manufacturer.
Because of the problem the manufacturer agreed it should be replaced.
As the heater was not in stock, we rescheduled for later in the week for delivery. The scheduler, a woman was so kind and helpful as well!
Again Adrian was prompt and efficient and he was great to work with!
